We didn’t even buy a pumpkin this year. My wife put out a few decorations on the porch and I’m going to pass out candy tonight since she didn’t want to do it. With the kids away the holidays are a little less festive.

This is one of my new base recipes....try at your peril I haven't tried it yet but it looks good to me.......what do you think?
Spicy sponge cream cake.
1.25% Biscuit (Speculoos) (CSC)
1.00% Cake (Sponge Cake) (CSC)
1.50% Pudding Base (VTA)
0.50% Vienna Cream (FA)
1.50% Whipped Cream (Panna Montata) (FA)
Flavor total: 5.75%

This gives me an idea for the only cake base that ever looked good to me.

I went ahead and mowed again today. Not much else going on. My new neighbor next door was out standing on his roof hanging Xmas lights. I stopped putting high lights up after I fell and broke my foot. It’s just not worth it. I wasn’t much older than him when I fell years ago.

Found out this morning that step-son has covid, he was here Friday and we were exposed. We were scheduled for our booster on Thursday, I guess this will stop that.

I got covid just before I was scheduled to get the booster. I was the only one in our family to have a bad bout with it. Advice on this stuff is way above my pay grade.
