I had a weirdly annoying experience yesterday. I was setting up 5 KFL's for testing some new recipes. I dug them out of the stash and took them all apart to clean before I did the coils and wicks. Some of them still had the metal tank sections that they come with so I grabbed plastic sections from the bag of spares. One of the plastic sections wouldn't screw in. I did a bit of experimenting and the dodgy plastic piece fitted just fine in one tank.
I figured out that the tanks had a subtle difference. Some had the writing on the bottom of the tank in a circular pattern and others had the writing in straight lines. The dodgy plastic fitted fine in the straight line tanks but not in the others. The plastic that fitted the curved line tanks screwed into the others but they were loose. Apparently the clones weren't quite identical.
Now I have to go through my huge collection of KFL's and spare plastic and separate them out into 2 piles.

My Mum decided to declutter in about 2000 and discovered she had 14 tins of chestnut purée some of which dated back to 1987.....true story

I think I mentioned here before that I had issues with imgbb and the image links weren't working any more on reviews I was trying to do so I switched to imgur. I just noticed on some of my older reviews that the images I linked from imgbb are gone now too. I wonder if they went in and deleted some of my folders. What a bunch of crap.
