I signed up to work Christmas. Holidays mean bonus to me Other than that. I might have a carb meal around this time (a excuse to do so). Other than that-I eliminated the stress completely of the whole ritual.

I like getting to spend time with the kids over the holidays but Xmas has lost it's sparkle for me this year. It really has just turned into an obligation to buy gifts for the outlaws for me. There's nothing I really need or want for Xmas so the gifts don't really mean much. My one brother in law is the worst. We hardly see him all year despite him living about 20 minutes away then at Xmas he's asking for gift ideas because he knows nothing about us or our lives. Then we are obligated to shop for him for a gift that means nothing. Sorry for the negativity.

Wow, I can’t understand why someone would not want to do Christmas at least in some way but that’s because I love Christmas time.

I got mine knocked out this weekend. Decorated the tree and asst rooms, made hot chocolate bombs and decorated the ornaments for Himself’s people. Just have to create and print tags. Trips to hobby lobby and michael’s (ergh), but I’m done. Except for wrapping presents.

Maybe a boozy nut topping? My aunt used to make a buttermilk pie (southern name for the pie) with a bourbon pecan top layer. Divine. Berries might be nice too, blackberry, raspberry… something with body

Personally, when I worked as a waiter/bartender, I always wanted to work the holidays . . . And not only to give the people with children and those who NEEDED to be with family/friends the time off - but because I made more money in tips on those days then I might have made in a couple of weeks, especially on CHRISTMAS and NEW YEARS EVE . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I used all six of my cleaned bottles. I have one to clean. I mixed another 60ml of cream base and put all my cases away. I can fit another two bottles in my divider but I need to come up with recipes.

I get more out of a tft (2 or 3 ft) than a sft. I need to know how it plays with others more than what it tastes like alone. That and I detest doing sft lol.

That’s why I added some raspberry. If it needs something else I’ll add it when I try it.
