It looked terrible out this morning but all the ice was soft thank goodness. We didn’t get any snow.
We got in Walmart at quarter to six this morning. Yes, they were open that early. Not many folks in the store yet and I got a handful of clearance items to save for next Christmas once I find a place to put them. After that a quick trip to the grocery store.

Seems the snow event has been delayed, only scattered and light yesterday, no accumulation to speak of at the house. They say it's still coming, and the temp has dropped a little in preparation... we'll see.
Just a quiet day for us, yesterday, having done our sleigh ride on Eve day.

Yup, I got the cream pack. I didn't order it when I found it and it went poof. Now that it's back I didn't make that mistake again.
I think my wife wants to do a little shopping today for clearance stuff. As long as she doesn’t want to go to the bath and body works store then I may go with her just to get out of the house awhile.
I dug out all the totes on left side of my bureau and happy I found enough room in two of them to put away the few things for next Christmas. I just need to remember that next Christmas.
I ordered that one and didn't like most of them. The cookies n cream and irish cream are terrible imo. Hope you like it better.

Ah - The usual morning ritual had a late start, just started waking up an hour ago . . . 10:30 AM - instead of 7:30/8:30 AM . . . Bright Sunny day here - going to be a humidity free 80's + . . . Very tempted to go to after Christmas "Sale" shopping - however feel to good to deal with that madness even at 75% off thing I might NEED ( New Non-stick Frying Pans) . . . Guess I'll have to wait until the January sales . . . Anyway the choice is to stay in and stop procrastinating complete a review that's way over due . . . Or go out, get a cup of coffee and enjoy the weather . . . Decisions - Decisions . .. Also, there is Kwanzaa to celebrate for the next week too . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I normally clearance shop for Christmas but we don’t really need anything. We reuse bows and gift card boxes.
Yesterday, my young niece said “uh oh I threw away a bow” and we all cracked up.Decorations (except the main tree) are down and sitting in piles in my living room. Now to take them all downstairs…that part wears me out going up and down the stairs. Progress! The big tree always takes a while. Whew! I’ll do it later.
We are heading back to Mom’s for leftovers. My son got a bigger TV and we are giving his old one to my Mom for her bedroom so we will set it up for her.
