We have rain in our forecast also. I agree…..all wrong.
4 to 6 inches snow expected here by tomorrow morning.
NOAA anticipates that La Niña will bring more precipitation, and slightly above average to average temps for my region.

NOAA releases 2021-22 winter outlook, with La Niña expected to continue
Of course that's back in October.
The local experts are expecting that we'll get socked  soon, starting this month (Jan) and through Feb. Since those are our coldest months, even if slightly above average temps, I'd expect a lot of snow during the wetter season this year.

IDK about your neck of the woods, but betting it will head your way soon enough. ;)

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?

We are getting our first snow and it’s supposed to be 3-5 inches. The temperature is dropping as the day goes on. It’s 16 right now. I think that’s about the coldest I’ve seen so far.

Happy New Year! I made it to about 10:30. I don’t miss hanging out at a friends house waiting for the clock to turn. My wife stayed with her friend until a little after midnight. Her friend’s mother passed around this time last year and didn’t want to leave her alone.

5 for me. I got up cause I knew I wouldn’t get back to sleep.

It was a mistake going back to bed. I tossed and turned a lot and feel kind of sore.

I’m hoping Butch is ok. I saw that he was lurking for awhile yesterday but I didn’t see him post at all.

I would think the infusion would have him feeling better by now. Both of the people at my work that got it said it was a huge help.

That’s what I was hoping for but IDK. Did the folks at your work have any of the shots?

One guy didn’t and the other I believe had one shot.

I watched a show the other day where a doctor was saying that the people that won’t get the vaccine are the first ones asking for the infusion. He said an ounce of prevention could have prevented a pound of cure. I was surprised that the guy at work that was totally against the vaccine got the infusion.

Apparently he saw the infusion as something different. Or maybe he got sick enough that he didn’t care.
