If he lives in the city (where the streets are paved with gold) that's half the problem.... no-one can see him

About 100 miles / 160km north of us on Lake Superior are the Apostle Islands Ice Caves. They were closed last year, deemed unsafe due to a much warmer than normal winter. Not sure about this year yet. There are several very large caves. A couple are cathedral like in size.

If so it's not very often. Heck any more it's not even that stressful very often. I think we may have finally hit our winter slow down. Hopefully it picks up soon.

I’ve been in ice caves. As pretty as they can sometimes be I dislike ice.

I got one mix done and I’ve changed my mind on the second one. I like this cookie rasp. Ice cream so much I’m going to do another with the cookie at 1%. I may change the fruit or maybe not cause it will be awhile before I get to it.

I'm back from the doctor. It's been 5 months since my VNS surgery and my voice is still hoarse, although it's getting better. It should be a lot better than it is though. We're going to give it some more time, and possibly speech therapy, if one can be found near where I live. I go back again in two months. If not getting better, then I get another surgery.

Work is going very slow and boring today. I walked before lunch just to get out of here for a while.

I know all about slow boring days. They suck. Dd won’t be going back to her work place this month, she’ll be working from home all month. They had 3 people exposed to Covid where she works and the boss closed down for Jan. There’s seven people where she works and they’re all working from home.
