Any plans today folks? I have plans but don't know how much will get done. I want to mix 30ml of Ella's Shortbread Biscuit and divide it into 3 10ml bottles. I also want to mix at least 2 sfts on chocolates. Also want to mix another tester of TFA Cranberry sometime. I don't have any mixes I'm happy with yet so I probably won't mix but I do have some mixes to try.
Good morning, Fran. I only do simple mixes, for the most part and I want to play with some lemon mixes. Maybe today, if things don't get too crazy here.

I love simple mixes. I'm happy anytime I can use 2-4 ingredients for a good recipe.
I didn't have much hopes of getting much done but I surprised myself. I got the Ellas Shortbread Biscuit mixed (not yet divided) and I did sft's for FLV Milk Chocolate at 1% and FW White Chocolate at 4%. I should do a sft of the WF Almond Cookie but probably won't. If anyone has a recipe for that please post. Also looking for additional uses for the Pudding Base.
Just remembered to do a sniff test on the Blueberry Milkshake for giggles. I can't say it smells bad to me.
I did the blueberry milkshake at6% and added 3% wild blueberry to boost the blueberry flavor. I’ve only used the pudding base with pomegranate so far. I use 4% pudding base and 6% pomegranate.

You may need to dilute that FLV Milk Chocolate somewhat - 1% is going to be super strong.
Just a couple fruit remixes. I made the inw ywcc, cap nycc, TFA graham mix last night and put it to bed for a couple of weeks. Today is a sft of ywcc just to see what it really has.
Did a super early taste of the cc base with OOO’s cheesecake in it. It’s got 2 1/2 more weeks, but what the heck. Right now it’s sort of like a sara lee cheesecake. Some weird sweetness. It’s covering the cap nycc. We’ll see how it mellows out

Late tonight after work I need to come up with a couple gift liquids for my father in law, bought him an e-cig for Christmas to quit smoking and want to give him some good liquid with it. I'm thinking a coffee (dark bean espresso), a creamy custard, and a fruit, maybe pear or strawberry....
And I also need to order a bunch of stuff to make 500mls of a skittles clone for a friend at work. Want to buy a few bigger bottles of some key flavorings for myself also, and pray I hit free shipping lol. I sure wish my friend had asked me to make his skittles a little sooner so I could hit some sales...
Any sales still going into tomorrow? I'm not too hopeful.

I would think just about any fruit would be good with it. I like the pomegranate with it for the tartness that it brings. I could imagine the pudding base with some other ingredients to make some type of pudding pie flavor. You know like a crust type flavor for a base along with the pudding and maybe something like butterscotch. I like butterscotch pudding.
Not crazy about Butterscotch plus it's sweet but maybe chocolate............ I am going to try the Pom first.
Then I must of gotten the bottom of a batch or I just have super smelling abilities. Or you like the smell of rancid milk(as @hittman pointed out it smells like to him)? Dunno.
I did do a mix of pudding base and Pom per @hittman suggested %. It is shaping up quite nicely. Still needs a bit more steeping time tho.
