What’s everyone up to tonight?

Getting ready to watch Oak Island. Think they are getting ready to start putting the Big Can down tonight. I can hardly contain my excitement.

I've got my TC setup working. I didn't have the coil resistance locked but I got that figured out tonight. One outstanding problem / question if there are any experts out there. Pico 75 mod. Using 0.6 ohm SS coil, 400 degrees F. You can set the wattage in TC. That was set to 75W by default which blew my first coil. Couple of folks here mentioned that and I set it down to 20W. I know some mods have an initial power setting that heats the coil up quickly (that has a name which I can't remember), then the TC kicks in and handles it from there. I did that on a Colossal years ago. But from playing around tonight it seems like the wattage setting controls the whole thing. Like at 15W I get a quite weak cool vape. At 18W it's a nice vape, around 24W it starts to overheat and turn off sometimes.

The Pico manual tells you how to adjust the wattage but not what that does.

Ok, then why did you buy it?
I got it on sale for 20 bucks several months ago and heard everyone else saying how much they liked it. I figured for 20 bucks it was worth a purchase. But I still just use my Solos and Swag II mods. I probably should switch it up every now and then.

Good evening in here! Nothing much going on yet! Might get some flurries but the storm is south of us. I'm getting a sore throat and heaviness in the lungs. Sure hope I don't get covid. No cough yet. I'm still waiting for the free covid tests. LOL

I got da Omicron (in my best Barry White voice). It was the worst sore throat I have ever had in my life. It felt like I swallowed glass and it ran from the roof of my mouth down into my esophagus.

It wasn't nearly as bad as what ever variant that was I had months ago. No loss of taste and smell either..

Yikes! It still sounds horrible! I don't know what it is. I had a sore throat a few weeks back and it went away. Now its back again. No free places to test. My job won't test me. They are having a power struggle with management right now. I'm a agency type nurse who works for the main company. I'm expendable. LOL I have to have 3 symptoms to test even though they have a wing on covid lock down. It doesn't make sense to me not to test me at work.

Oh man, that stinks. And I am sure they are probably aware of your underlying health issue. You'd think they'd make sure you were okay, especially considering the shortage of health workers we have now.

You are in my thoughts, and I have added you to my exclusive list of daily anxieties.

Oh skeebo I'm going to be okay. Don't fret over me..I have another week or so before I get my 4th vaccine hopefully. I have to message my doctor to make sure I can get it. 5 months from last one.
We have a lot of staff out with covid. I'm working on the "clean" unit. That unit only has one covid patient but is contained. They want me to work more hours but I'm declining until this virus makes full rounds with the staff.
Did you get your 4th vaccine yet?

I'm still waiting for BlackNote juice, Kumo, Nautilus Nano, and a few other little things, but I'm really done buying for a few months.

It has been difficult to get proper batteries for almost a year in Norway. I got what I need for this year today, mostly Molicel 18650 P35A:

Since shipping costs are money out the window, I bunkered up on Sunbox's squonk bottles, 4 complete sets and spare bottles. I would assume that I should not try out more bottle brands from now on.

I bought it on one limited offer, from Steampipes, I did not like the black drip tips they usually come with, the limited offer was that you got MTL & DL peek insert & both drip tips, while you could also choose which insert & drip tip materiale .

The only negative with the Steampipes purchase was that the customs officers were at work when the package arrived in Norway. Everything else I have bought in the last few months has gone straight through
Where did you get the batteries Tor??

Supposed to get 6 to 8 inches here. I think the most we have gotten here since arriving in 2020 is 2 inches. I am not sure what kind of ruler they use to measure how many inches, but the 2 inches looked like 8 to me.
You've got to factor in the sidewalk height!! My snowman's always 3' :D

You need to upgrade the firmware to Arcticfox by NFE team. Then you'll have preheat which is what you need.....
