I got it on sale for 20 bucks several months ago and heard everyone else saying how much they liked it. I figured for 20 bucks it was worth a purchase. But I still just use my Solos and Swag II mods. I probably should switch it up every now and then.
The Aspire Mixx is a really well built mod....part of their prestige line. Yes you really ought to try it.

ETA. ECF still says my photos are too large!! @classwife any ideas??

Morning Fran/Randomers

Beautiful sunny morning here....as usual :) It's going to be nice and warm so a bit of gardening is on the cards.

Tried my Rhubarb and strawberry cheesecake yesterday. It's good. Strawberry and Rhubarb are going down as a good combo.

Hope you're all having a good night's sleep

I thought you liked that one.

I do like it and have been using it regularly. For some reason this mix is way better in the pod. I’m going to play around with the watts and airflow more and see if I can dial it in.

Where did you get the batteries Tor??
    He got batteries from Fogstar.
They also have a wholesale that can suit you well Charlie

Getting ready to watch Oak Island. Think they are getting ready to start putting the Big Can down tonight. I can hardly contain my excitement.

I've got my TC setup working. I didn't have the coil resistance locked but I got that figured out tonight. One outstanding problem / question if there are any experts out there. Pico 75 mod. Using 0.6 ohm SS coil, 400 degrees F. You can set the wattage in TC. That was set to 75W by default which blew my first coil. Couple of folks here mentioned that and I set it down to 20W. I know some mods have an initial power setting that heats the coil up quickly (that has a name which I can't remember), then the TC kicks in and handles it from there. I did that on a Colossal years ago. But from playing around tonight it seems like the wattage setting controls the whole thing. Like at 15W I get a quite weak cool vape. At 18W it's a nice vape, around 24W it starts to overheat and turn off sometimes.

The Pico manual tells you how to adjust the wattage but not what that does.
You need to upgrade the firmware to Arcticfox by NFE team. Then you'll have preheat which is what you need.....

    NFE Team
I would upgrade the Firmware and then install ArthicFox which Charlie also posts the link to. You can roughly set up the mod and change the settings as we do with DNA and escribe with ArthicFox, and in TC it is a much more comfortable vape.

If the mod is of the newer type with UBS-C, it is not possible to upgrade the firmware, Eleaf went backwards into the future to say the least.

I know some of you order from Sourcemore. Just curious, what are delivery times running these days?
SM used to take about 2 weeks. That was prior to Sourcemore changing their shipping to the total mess that exists today. My last order from SM (2021-10) took a month and a half.

The current cost of shipping from SM, HC or FT is nearly the cost of DHL, FedEx or UPS. All of my recent purchases have been direct from a manufacturer and each was received 3-5 days (DHL, FedEx, UPS).

Disney’s site on the tv doesn’t give anywhere to access the shows you picked which sucks but I did find Nardia.
Disney+ has a search feature. On the far left side of the screen you should see some symbols.

The topmost symbol is 'Search' and looks like a Magnifying Glass. Once you select that you should see the actual search screen. Enter what you are looking for there.

No search features when bringing the site up on TV. I have the search features on my computer.

Our big Friday snowstorm is disappearing like the others. Started as 8 inches and down to 4 now.
As each year passes I am more and more convinced that global weather patterns have, and still are, shifting. We know the reasons for that.

We used to see much more snow around here. In the last decade plus it's been less and less. In many cases where we would have gotten snow those systems have been pushed to the south and east.

Here we see more frequent Arctic sub zero temps coming down from Canada. Those push the systems that would have generated snow further south.

Anyways, that's my working theory.

Like you, I have a bunch of Pico 75's. I installed Arctic Fox on all of mine.

I'm pretty sure you've used Arctic Fox before. If you go into AF under TC you will see a feature called Preheat. That is where you setup a wattage boost and the total time for the boost.

I use Preheat only for 26g and thicker wire and also for claptons (and other exotic coils). If you are using 28g or thinner wire you don't want to set the Preheat too high.

Using your examples and 28g ss316L, I would start with Preheat setting as follows and then adjust to what feels good for you. 15w, Preheat 20w. 18w, Preheat 23w. 24w, Preheat 29w. If using 26g wire then set Preheat wattage higher to whatever feels best for you. I have the boost set between 1sec - 2sec (depending on coil).

In AF you have 8 profiles. You could always setup each for different wattages and Preheat settings. Or have 3-4 for TC only settings and another for simple wattage mode.

Using Arctic Fox will bring any compatible mod to nearly the same performance one would get from any DNA or Yihi mod.

Also, you Do Not need to lock the coil resistance for TC to work properly under AF or if using the default Eleaf Pico 75 firmware.

That is also true with any DNA or Yihi mod. In fact Evolv recommends not locking resistance under TC. I have each of the 8 profiles setup differently on all my DNA and Arctic Fox mods.

    Good luck :)

I rotate using all my mods.

The roads around my house had about an inch or so of snow on them but as I went south to work it was a bit heavier and looked like the plows had not run over most of it or salted from what I could tell. My Jeep did really well and I didn't slip a tire in 4wd except for when I pushed the pedal a little too hard coming off of a stop light. It's funny because they cancelled trash pick up the rest of the week so they could pull those workers to drive plows but I didn't see any plows on the way to work.
