Good morning. I ended up carrying the tv downstairs to finish the updates. What a pain. I don’t see me streaming much upstairs until we get the WiFi hubs. Downstairs is lightning fast. Of course this tv is as far away from the router as it can be in the house. Opposite end and one floor up.
So your router is near your "cable" connection, I'm assuming. But WiFi is really location sensitive (bounce off stuff) so...even moving the router a few feet one way or another can make a big diff. Also, if you can and don't mind the techie stuff, check the CHANNEL NUMBER of the WiFi signal. You'll find that if you're getting interference from other sources (including neighbors if applicable) switching channel numbers can help. Like move from channel 9 to 11 or whatever.

You probably already know this, you seem pretty hardware savvy, but I'm throwing it out in case it helps.

I appreciate the information. I’ve not heard of switching the channel. Is that done by logging into the router?

I got the Unibox set up this morning for review. Really nice size mod and comfortable to hold. I decided to try the strawberry macaroon in the tank. It’s pretty good. A little tart to it which I like.

Is that a recipe? Thinking it’s a one shot.

Morning, all, and happy Saturday :)

Yes. And moving the router, as mentioned, can make a big difference as well. IN the situation you've described, getting it higher might help a lot.

    Happy Saturday morning everyone!

I had the same issue with stuff in two different warehouses. Sourcemore shipped one item over to Hong Kong and now the two have shipped together...I'm assuming in one package.

Maybe your second package got ripped and customs could see it was vape gear?

I have one package that was waiting on part of the order to arrive at the other warehouse. That one shipped last night. The ripped package scenario is a possibility. I notice I am not the only one having issues as per reports in the vape mail ban thread.

I'm going to try and save my soho tobacco mix. Added Caramel butter @ 2% and biscuit @ 1.5 %. Sort of a ry4 mix? I'll give it a week steep.

    caramel butter makes everything better

Yes. Login to your router and you should see status and configuration pages.

IIRC you have a Google Fiber connection?

    If so...

Sign in to Fiber using the email and password you use for your Fiber account. Select Network from the navigation menu.

Network Management Basics (screens + config):
Configure advanced Wi-Fi settings - Google Fiber Help

You want "Configure advanced Wi-Fi Settings":
Configure advanced Wi-Fi settings - Google Fiber Help

On your Google Fiber router you will see this screen (or something similar):

There are several channels for you to try. One, or more, may provide you with a stronger signal. It's pretty straight forward.

    Note on Channels:

Also, as previously mentioned, moving your router can help in providing a stronger signal. Depends how long the provided Ethernet cable is. You can always buy a longer one if needed. Or, if you are feeling adventurous, you could run a new cable to somewhere more centrally located in your home where you find a better Wi-Fi signal for all your devices.

If all your devices connect to the Fiber router via Wi-Fi then moving the router would be easy.

At my house I have an AT&T router for the fiber connection. Some Mac's I have connected via Ethernet and a couple via Wi-Fi. My smart TV is connected via Ethernet.

Thanks! I’ll check it out later. Yes I have Google fiber. I’m not overly concerned right now since they are going to give us WiFi hubs for free once we “upgrade “. Basically they are discontinuing service for tv in our area and are offering some free stuff to smooth the transition.
