Excellent. I'm happy I was able to help.

I vape TC on half of the 8 mods currently in my rotation.

From what I read yesterday you will be fine if you stay with 28g SS316L. There are plenty of folks still using 28g wire w/TC.

26g 316L will be a slightly slower ramp-up, for the first couple hits, but once warm will consistently give you decent hits like 28g does.

Airflow will also play a role in hitting Temp Protection. When I ran my OG KFL's and Russian's in TC I made sure the AF was wide open. The OG Lemo's have more air so those will be fine.

I did 2 so far with spaced coils. On the second one I also held back on the amount of rayon, and trimmed the tails a good bit which I normally don't do in Lemos. That one gave a much nicer hit. Tasty too.

Interested to hear that it works with KFL's. I assumed that would be difficult because of the limited airflow. I have some with 2 airholes so I'll try one of them when the wire arrives.

By the way, the one I set up with a contact coil looked horrible when I took it apart. Hadn't used it for long and the wick and coil were black.

"The benefits of Daylight Saving Time have also been accounted for in the research. For example, reduced crime as there's light later in the day. ;)

Gotta love politicians. Maybe if we moved the clock forward by 12 hours it would be light all night. Bingo, no more crime.

I totally hear ya Zaz. It seems to me, from his web page outlining the change, the republican senator perhaps doesn't realize, or worse, does not know, this was tried previously.

And I'm neither for or against making one or the other permanent. It just doesn't matter to me.

Maybe send a letter to the "originator" of the glorious bill known as the Sunshine Protection Act of 2021 (S. 623). That would be none other than Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL). ;)

Here is his web page with his contact info: Rubio’s Bill to Make Daylight Saving Time Permanent Passes Senate

Here are some of his extraordinary "claims"...

"[...] I think the majority of the American people's preference is just to stop the back and forth changing. But beyond that, I think their preference is — certainly at least based on today's vote, and what we've heard — is to make Daylight Saving Time permanent. I'll just tell you a couple of the reasons why I think that's important."

"There's some strong science behind it that is now showing and making people aware of the harm that clock switching has. We see an increase in heart attacks and car accidents and pedestrian accidents in the week that follow the changes."

"The benefits of Daylight Saving Time have also been accounted for in the research. For example, reduced crime as there's light later in the day. We've seen decreases in child obesity. A decrease in seasonal depression that many feel during Standard Time."

"And then the practical one, one that I've witnessed with my own eyes…. We're a country [in which] we desperately want our kids to be outside, to be playing, to be doing sports, not just to be sitting in front of a TV or a computer terminal or playing video games all day."

That last one makes me laugh. Ya ain't gonna get kids exercising if they don't want to. Obesity, very sadly and disgustingly, rules the roost in America.

He goes on with many more of his so-called 'practical reasons' for changing to DST permanently in the link I provided.

ETA: For the record, that is NOT a political post, in any way shape or form. ;)
They're going to do what they're going to do. I think I'm fretting about it to distract myself from other, more pressing problems.

So, to change the subject, I just tried using the Badger Air-Brush Co. paint mixer and the little disk that fits on the end of the shaft kept coming off. After fishing it out a few times, I ended up shaking as usual, which made me and my arthritic shoulder very grumpy.

It also conveniently overlooks the fact that there were more accidents in the morning when DST was made permanent last time. Plus some kids were hurt and at least one killed going to school in the dark.

Here I go again . . . sorry.

That's a bummer Zaz.

The little disk is press fit. I have a couple of those paint mixers and the disk came off on one.

I used a little J-B Weld epoxy to fix it. It's been fine ever since. J-B Weld sets in 4-6 hours and cures in 15-24 hours.

Maybe give that a try. Just a thought. :)

I broke down and placed a BCF order, so I ordered that WF Deep Fried Dough I was missing to make my strawberry cheese strudel. They had a bunch of LB flavors in clearance that sounded like they would make great one shots...baked cinnamon bun, Belgian waffle, snickerdoodle. 50% off plus the 15% off coupon.

    Somewhere between here and there
Got in a minor workout tonight. My legs had been aching all day from the big jump in barometric pressure. Rain and 40’s tomorrow. I started a run but couldn’t finish.

I had to refill my bottle of menthol tobacco while I was downstairs. I also grabbed the mod I got to beta test the Dna100c board. I want to see if I can take it out and put it in a lost vape mod.

That sounds like a fun project to me. Hope you let us know how it turns out.

I was planning to do something along those lines. I have to see what adhesives I have. May have to order something.
