Coil height? Dunno, but maybe.

Sure surprised the hell out of me. I was always under the impression the only reason spitback occurs, is because of a to loosely packed cotton...and its true, but it turns out coil height is a factor to. At least in this case i've experienced. I've always been a tight packer and it was no different with the Qbix. As it spat back, I went tighter. When I dropped the coil, it stopped....coincidence...maybe...i'm not sure TBH. All I can think is on this particular device, the coil overheated...or it wanted to, because of insufficient cooling...again, not sure though.
Interesting to...I didn't drop it that much as I always set my coil height at 2,0-2.5mm. This coil was at about 2.5 and I dropped it to about 2.0

We had more rain after supper and then a tornado warning but it was 8 miles from me. It is over now. I thought it was April showers that brought the May flowers.

I get an alert on my phone for stuff like that. It was only in effect for a certain period of time. That is what I meant by it was over now. Sorry for the confusion but you know. . . I'm confusing!

You know, guys, we could use some of that rain here. Don't hog it. We only got like an inch the other day. Everything is dry here and the western half of the state is on fire.
