Got so bored I ended up looking on ELR. I almost never bother with the recipe sites anymore. I actually found a recipe by Ckemist that looks good. I might mix this as is for a start

Creme DeLa Cookie
TFA Bavarian Cream 3%
FW Butter Rum 2%
TFA Cheesecake/Graham 3%
Cap Sugar Cookie 4%
FA Fresh Cream 2%

On second thought I'm taking the Sugar Cookie down to 3%

I did mix the Creme De La Cookie but subbed FW Butter Pecan for the Butter Rum. Seems I don't have the Butter Rum.

First time I’d ever seen it happen. I know they were making changes about no copies of ELR recipes to cut down on duplicates etc etc , but that doesn’t explain Ckemist, tons of followers and recipes

I wonder if Legal is starting to catch up with them. Some sites, like ATF (where Ckemist has quite a few recipes posted), use general copyright notices on many (all?) of their recipes. Perhaps someone got a belly full of ELR's seeming disregard for this sort of protection.

Regardless; that is weird, that some have gone to "private" status, while others remain public

elr is saying a bunch of duplicate recipes got moved to private.

This was done by creation date, so in some cases original mixers have had their recipes moved because someone else stole and posted to elr first.

This is being fixed on a case by case basis by request.

@Heartsdelight — I seem to remember seeing an Eggnog Cheesecake recipe I believe on VU months ago. Would you happen to have the recipe?

Yes I have it. But I use the recipe by reducing all the % to half as vaperoxx has said his tasters are broken so he mixes at a high %. Plenty tasty halved.
