I've just been snoozing. My sleep study came back the other day showing I have severe obstructive sleep apnea, which might explain why I always wake up in the middle of the night and have trouble getting back to sleep. I go in for a CPAP, but not until June 6. There's been a shortage of CPAPs lately. I also go to the dentist on May 23 for a consult about a mandibular adjustment device, which pulls your jaw forward while you sleep. Most people use either the CPAP or the MAD, so my case must be pretty severe to recommend both. I'm just hopeful that it fixes my sleeping problems, even if I have to look like some kind of cyborg at night to do it.
