I do like the new SSA Flakey Pastry. Happy I bought 30mls.
Did a simple 3 flavor test mix using it. SSA Flakey Pastry 2%, WF Vanilla Cream Extra 1% and FA Blood Orange 2%. It's a nice mix. Pastry was out front but I expected that. I wanted to get a good handle on the flavor.
I then added 1% SSA Juicy Orange and 1% SSA Grapefruit to balance the mix out. Nice but can be improved.

I think I have Cloudy wicked a bit too tight, so maybe that helps prevent leaking.
With both airflows wide open I felt I needed to up the wattage and it tastes like I'm just touching on a dry hit.
Just fattened Cloudy up with cinnamon milk for the tilting leak test so will have to exercise him for a while before I can check him out and re-wick.

I like it at 2% for the pastry profile.
Also have 1% flakey pastry in a wafer mix to see how well it works with another bakery flavor. I'll probably try that one tomorrow.
I too have some newer flavors that I still need to test. As a reminder to use those I set them aside in a Tupperware container. Also need to match them up with my ideas list.
My "kind of new system" is to try and mix with new flavors as I receive them. But, that new system already has a backlog!
When I buy "new-to-me" flavors I usually have some ideas for those written out. Then I need to finalize the recipes and mix.
Counted the flavors in the Tupperware container. I have 12 untried, my backlog isn't too bad. Thinking the person doing the mixing needs to mix quicker!
When SIL put my ac in I tidied up a bit. Put those 8 bottles out of the way. So thank you for reminding me I have them.
