Good morning random folks
Have you any plans today?
There’s nothing wrong with a little convenience.I do wind my own coils but also buy some already made ones but nothing exotic. Maybe 3-4 dollars for an 8 or 10 pack.

My coil costs average about $5 a week (6 devices in my rotation). At my age convenience beats saving money. For the same reason I DIY(save $$$)... I build my own coils in an RDA, $20 gets me enough cotton and kanthal to vape for a 6mo to a year. VS. $4 for a coil thats gonna last a week. I get it though. Some people pay for convenience. Just surprised so many DIYers still buy coils.

I very much agree. My coil costs average about $5 a week (6 devices in my rotation). At my age convenience beats saving money.
I’ll catch up with you on my birthday in November. I would agree on the drop- ins if the postless decks didn’t come out. They’re so stupid easy I don’t mind coiling at all.I'm 75 years old, if it wasn't for drop in coils I doubt that I would be vaping.
WooHoo for rebates. There's a lot to be said for convenience as we get older. I'm not as old as some here on this thread but the older I get the less hassle I want and have started paying to have things done that I used to would have done myself. For example, we're having a new floor put in the master bathroom and on the same day someone is coming to install our new dishwasher. Could I have done it myself? Yes, but really don't want to. That and there was an installation rebate on the dishwasher so I'm basically getting it installed for free.
but it was quicker and took refuge in my right ear.
That sounds like a Stephen King horror story.
Calls to mind the earwig episode of Night Gallery. I'm glad you had a happier ending than Laurence Harvey's character did.
Which ones are your favorite, David? Do you have one?
Now you lost me again. What are gti coils and what do they fit?I have mostly GTX, GT, Z coils, PNP coils and some Lost Vape UB Pro coils with a box or two of this or that mixed in. I very much like the gti coils used in the new Vaporesso tank. I just have a couple boxes so far but will probably get more. They last a really long time and have good flavor.

Right.
That said, I never took mine apart, so there's that. BTW, I tried to find Phil's and/or Ruby's K4 videos and they are gone from YouTube. They were the best instructional videos for K4. I honestly wouldn't have been be able to get those things working without their help. I wonder why they are gone. Is YouTube taking down vaping videos now? Weird...
Are the GTi coils better than the GTx coils? The GTi coils are the new coils released with the Vaporesso iTank. It came in the Target 100 and 200 as well as the Gen 80 and Gen 200 kits. I very much like this tank and my favorite are the mesh .4 ohm coils. I bought two boxes so far and haven't had to replace the original one that came with the Target 100 in over a month. You know I have several mods in rotation so it's not used all day every day but have over 1000 puffs on the counter on one coil and it's still going strong with good flavor.
I’m rather fond of Innokin for not having a different coil for every tank they make. The GTi coils are the new coils released with the Vaporesso iTank. I'm trying to stick with Freemax and Vaporesso GTx coils.I’m rather fond of Innokin for not having a different coil for every tank they make.
