Someone needs to come over and go through my stuff.
vaping stuff needs a major cleaning out !

That's not as easy as it sounds though. I've tried over the years. Trouble is you pick something up, the hoarding circuit kicks in, and you say well I might need it someday. Back in the box it goes.

While you debated working out I made brownies and now I need to work out.

It wasn’t great but I did get in a workout. With everything going on I have only been getting in one a week.

    Indeed !

You have no idea how much effort it took to clear out my chest of drawers last weekend.
    This weekend will be shoes.
Then working up to the rest of the closet.
Having worked in a bank for so may years before...I have over 50 suits. Not a lie - I am a great sale shopper.
Then there are dresses, skirts and blouses.
I've put on too much weight and don't have to dress like that at work anymore so it's been 10 years since I have worn any of it.
Really sad, but it just needs to go. I'll never be a size 4 again.

I'd be happy if I could do that !
I am so brain fried when I get home anymore that I just sit.

I mowed the lawn today. High of 89, feels-like of 98 because of the humidity. We are due for 3 days of rain starting tomorrow. The grass was already long. I had been avoiding mowing because of the super high temps we had recently. Did it in 4 or 5 short sessions, normally I do it in one 2 hour run. It started getting windy right before I finished and there were a few drops of rain.

Spent the last week chopping down weed trees and treating them with root killer. Hope it works.

I was sitting at the kitchen table during a mowing break and knocked over a full water bottle. I had all my wicking and coiling gear out ready for some tank maintenance and it all got soaked. dried it all out with paper towels. Unfortunately a big roll of kanthal was sitting there too. Not sure how much water got inside. I hope kanthal doesn't rust.

i don’t think water is going to hurt Kanthal. Just let it dry out. Should be fine.

I have a similar problem. The nature of my work sometimes required going 30-45 days without a break. That meant no laundry. Now that I work very occasionally; I have no need for a Month/Month and a half of clothing changes. No fancy suits but it still takes up a lot of room..

It is hard to stay motivated. I’ll do 3-4 a week for a while then when things are busy at home then 1-2 is it.

Earlier tonight, Uncle called to fill me in on how he's doing and requested that I post this brief update on him. So, in his words..."the surgery went OK. I'm in recovery now. I hope to post sometime in the next 2-3 days."

Morning, mixers, and happy day before Friday :)

Cooler weather continues, but any rain was further north. At least the water no longer evaporates between the hose and the ground. May try to mow the dandelions, nothing else has been growing.

Dd gave me her virus and I feel crappy.

Um, "caring is sharing"? Get well soon!

There IS iron in kanthal, so it might... "Kanthal® A-1 is a ferritic iron-chromium-aluminium alloy (FeCrAl alloy) for use at temperatures up to 1400°C (2550°F)." Maybe work it over with a hair dryer, or a low oven for a while? Although any light surface rust would probably go away when you anneal it.

Thanks! We're all pulling for him, and good to hear he's headed back in the right direction!

Oh well, I'll keep an eye on it. Unfortunately it's an almost full 250' roll. Even with a hair dryer not much air would get to the wire on the inside of the roll. If it was a 10' I would have thrown it out or rewound it. I got it picked up and dried off in a few seconds so the water probably stayed on the outside.
