Good morning. Another day in the 90’s. It’s going to be pretty hot all weekend and we have to move my daughter tomorrow.

Somewhat afraid to report that our temp here continues to support human life. But still no rain here. Parts north did get some yesterday, but only about half what was guessed at. We didn't even get the dew...

I finally received my diy flavor shack order. The two flavors came in a rigid bottle with a twist cap and no dropper. I will need to transfer these to a squeeze dropper bottle. Weird. I’ve never seen flavors come like this.

Is it a large bottle, 4 ounce or so? I never buy flavors in that size, so don't know, but maybe? Yep, seems odd.

Same here, although we got quite a bit of rain the last couple of days. We needed it.

Update on the Shortbread, Vanilla Ruyan Custard, tobacco experiment. I dipped into it after 3 weeks, to see how it was coming along. Heading out of town next weekend, and want to take some with me. Didn't want to be surprised if it turned out badly, so I took a sample. It's really turning out nicely (for my tastes). So, I'm sure it'll even be a bit better by next weekend. I think it'll be a keeper, in the daily rotation. Hopefully your & @hittman 's experiments with NETS turns out as well as mine did.

I'm glad your NET is working out. I liked mine alright but it was still a little too heavy on the tobacco side so I added a little of this and that to the tank and have a 10ml sample steeping with a couple new flavors added to the cookie and Net mix. I have high hopes for it.

Thanks much,Doug I’m getting there. I emptied the dishwasher and folded all DD’s towels and put away. Had to sit and breathe (rest). It was the most I’ve done in three days.
I haven’t tried my NET mix yet.

I forget, how much of the ruyan custard did you add?

I used 3.5% of the Vanilla Ruyan Custard. The add'l tobacco I added to it wasn't a NET though. It was FLV Tatanka at 1.5%

I remember now you mentioning it wasn't a NET. I have a whole box full of them and thought it would be good to find a use for them besides sitting beside my mixing cabinet.

Oh definitely. I would have used those too, since they're right there. The Vanilla Ruyan Custard already has some tobacco in it too, from what I read, although I couldn't tell you what type. Someone in the ELR flavor notes said it tasted like SC Pipe but different, lol, for whatever that guess is worth.

I thought I had some Stixx mixed but I was mistaken. What I had mixed was the last I had of Brett’s NET’s so Used one of those. Hopefully I wrote down what I mixed. Haven’t got the energy to get up and look.
