I can tell you that when my oldest was at Missouri state that tuition for undergraduate was about 18k a year and the youngest at Wichita was a little over 20k. Both were in state tuition rates. Of course that’s before scholarship money.

    Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,
Bedtime soon though, we have to work with wood for the rest of the morning.
If I get the chance, I will buy some stabwood sleeves from Alex as soon as possible, it is important that we support them from Ukraine

When I was doing my undergraduate at Texas Tech, I was paying $4 per credit hour. My tuition per semester ran $250-$300. If I recall, my medical school tuition was like $3500 a year. These were in state rates. A lot of people came to Texas because our out of state tuition was cheaper than their in state tuition. That was before state stopped controlling tuition rates. Since then, tuition rates have skyrocketed, but Texas is still cheaper than a lot of other places.

I had a good laugh this morning when I checked my email. After yet another order from SM has been lost and has to be reshipped, I asked for some compensation for all the troubles I've had with them over the past 2-3 months. The customer service person offered me 200 reward points on my account which comes out to $2. What the heck am I going to buy for $2 at SM? I told them no thanks and to just get my lost order reshipped and that I won't be placing any orders with them until I know that their shipping issues have been corrected. I'm just sick of constantly dealing with it.

Good morning. We made it to another Friday. I’ll be glad when it’s over. I just have one review right now to work on. It’s not going to be released until next week so no rush.
What’s the review you have left?

    Generous aren’t they?

It's another tank. I'm not supposed to post anything about it until the release on the 15th.

I was thinking it should have had another zero on that number to make it $20. I have ordered a ton of stuff from them. Ever since the mail ban they have become my go to for just about anything I want or need. To me an offer of $2 after all the crap I've put up with due to their bad shipping company is just an insult.

    Morning, mixers.

Another hot one here, still no rain in sight. (Well, they claim some may be coming, but then show maps that are bare of any clouds. )

"Successful" town run yesterday, as in we didn't need a second mortgage to get out of Costco.

That's about what I faced when I was getting my BA, most semesters the books were more than the tuition. Yes, State, not private, and resident rates. Of course, my last semester was in 1970...

It’s been rough with both cats hissing at each other. I finally got the new cat out from under the couch and put her in a room by herself with her bed, litter box, and food. She’s happier. Dad said he called her Precious. Son hates it. But I like Precious so she may not be called Biddy any longer. I’m also not sure if she is a pixie bob although she does have a short tail.

She looks a lot like the feral cat that we feed. We had a cat years ago that looked like that with the M on the forehead. I know nothing about cat breeds.
