My Kidney doc appt went very well, she said my numbers were better than a year ago when my kidneys were 32% functional and now they are 35%. Still stage 3 kidney disease but I'll take it as it is not getting worse.

    That's good news.

Good news. Is there a chance it could improve more?

We're still in the 80's here. It was getting much cooler in the mornings but it was 68 already this morning.
One 80 degree day in our forecast. Otherwise it’s all 70’s and a couple 60’s.

By any chance have you and/or your Dr discussed with each other any of the new chronic kidney disease (CKD) medications that are available today?

AND - BTW: Do everything and anything you can to avoid going on Dialysis as long as you can . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Welcome - The National Kidney Foundation

    Morning, mixers.

Continues to look like the start of fall, rumors of rain increase, although the amount (zero here) hasn't changed.

More gathering of debris, maybe safe enough to torch off. Next month. :)

    Good morning, ladies & gentlemans,

Classy gave me that name !!!

I will reply to any post directed my way that contains any of the following...

ShowMeTwice (too long for the lazy typist), SMT, Ralph or ummm 'Ralphie' (Classy :glare:)
<i bet classy knows some kid named John she calls 'Johnny'>
I don't know, getting very complicated with SMT, ShowMeTwice not to forget Ralph & Ralphie, maybe Rudolph will be the best solution?

She wants to put me on Farxiga but did not because I am losing weight with Ozempic. We will revisit that in January.

I mixed 30ml of SMT's Tidnnm, or something similar.
It's been 6-7 months since the last time, a shaky mix.

Tomorrow when I'm waiting for the pre order list......I'll mix some cream, 3-4 recipes that Fran and Ralph have posted earlier.

I got a call from my wife at 2:00 crying. She evidently had a pinched nerve or something and couldn’t walk so I had to leave work and come home. I got her something to eat and a painkiller and she’s doing a little better. She’s been going like crazy the last three days with visitors from out of town. I figured she’d have a fibro flare up but didn’t expect this.

The pain killer is helping some. There’s really no use going to the hospital since they’ll just give her pain medicine like she’s already taking.
