    Somewhere between here and there
I was overwhelmed trying to get mine organized at first. Probably only half are in the binder, but it’s improvement! I started by making piles by flavor profiles. I put recipes I use on the top of the pile, new under. I know it sounds chaotic, but it narrowed down my searches when I mix, then made it easier to get into the binder ( hello procrastinating )

That sounds a lot like how I organize. I like to call it organized chaos. It seems to work for me.

I am so excited. I got vape mail today — 12 x 20ml glass boston round bottles for free. I have been looking for 20ml bottles in glass and they are very hard to find. I always mix 10mls for a new flavor the first time. For remixes it is either 10 or 30mls. There are times when I want something in between and 20mls is the answer. Although I have larger bottles, I never mix more than 30mls.

Just to be clear on Sherbet Lemons, that recipe isn't meant to be an American Sherbert dessert. It is modeled on a hard candy made in the UK. Bassetts Sherbet Lemons are the original brand. It is a hard candy with a fizzy center. In Harry Potter lore, Sherbet Lemons were Dumbledore's favorite Muggle treat and Sherbet Lemons was the password to Dumbledore's private quarters at Hogwarts. The candy is delicious and there is always a bowl full at my house. :)

Thank you — yes, I am very clear on this as you did mention it before plus I also read Dazcole’s overview. There is a British store and tea house a couple of doors down from where I volunteer. Went in there recently and bought a bag of Maynards Bassetts Sherbet Lemons plus a bag of Murray Mints. The owner was telling me that Bassetts was acquired by Cadbury if I remember correctly.

I don't mix anything but my 2 old ADV's in anything bigger than 30ml. How did you manage to get free bottles?

I'm kind of partial to my 15ml glass bottles but wouldn't mind 20's. On the other hard I have a ton of 30ml glass and I could make 15 or 20ml mixes in those with just a little extra measuring. All of the last mixes I did are 15ml and now I'm down to my last 15my bottle so maybe I'll do that. Since I'm only one person vaping this stuff I'd just rather not mix a bunch of 30ml mixes that are going to sit around forever. Some mixes don't taste so hot if they sit too long.

I don't remember if I said how long the granola should steep. I only let mine steep 5-7 days and it was good to go. If you add other flavors some may take a little longer but not much given the small amounts used.

I also just now put your Strawberry Cheesecake(old 20% mix) in a tank. So far so good. The wicking still needs a tank or two to really bring out the flavor.

    :)

What % did you mix the FLV Granola stand-alone?

Every once in a while I do a Google search for 20ml glass bottles and got lucky this Wednesday. I asked if there is some headspace in order to be able to shake the contents. The gal told me she does not have the means to measure so could not answer my question. I then asked if I bought 12 of them and find there is not enough headspace can I return them. She then said to email her my address and she would send them out free of charge. If I liked them, then I can order more and pay. Believe it or not they also have 2ml and 5ml glass boston rounds with glass droppers.

I mix three different tobacco blends and always in 30ml bottles unless it is a new one then 10mls. I have three macarons that get 30ml bottles and my Fizzy Lemon Sherbet is worthy of a 30ml bottle plus a few others. I am a flavor chaser and not a cloud chaser so always have multiple set ups at any given time.

I don’t mind sharing some of the 20ml bottles with you. I also have 15ml glass boston rounds that I do not use and you are welcome to these too. They are all amber color.

Those things are addictive. :) I have to hide the extra bags so I can refill the bowl. I love the candy and the juice!

I tested my sweetener testers today. I mixed 30mls of a simple lemonade - 3% INW Lemon, 1% INW Lemon Mix. I divided that up into three 10ml portions and added .5% CAP Super Sweet to one, .5% Sugar Daddy to another, and 1% FLV Sweetness to the third. I let them sit for a couple of days.

Results - IMO, Sugar Daddy does have a muting effect on the juice. The one with CAP SS and the one with FLV Sweetness were more vibrant. I liked the CAP SS best. FLV Sweetness is a 10% sucralose solution and tastes clean. CAP SS is Sucralose 10%, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, and Water. Those additives seem to help the flavors along a bit. Wayne says, "I've been leaning more towards FLV Sweetness as my sweetener, and adding in a touch of CA if I want to emulate CAP SS without the filler. But for some reason, to me at least, CAP SS's enhancement properties are still better. And yes, sucralose in vaping is the only "true" sweetener (save for erythritol etc.), anything else really just sweetens in the aroma, which isn't sweetness at all."

I guess I feel the same way. It was a great disappointment to me to find the Sugar Daddy has a muting effect. I do have to say that I am still vaping and enjoying e-liquid that contains Sugar Daddy. It may be that the Sherbet Lemons is more highly flavored so the muting effect is less intense.

I suppose you all have to try it for yourself as some say they get no muting with Sugar Daddy but since I do, I will probably just use my CAP SS from now on. Sugar Daddy does work but with the muting, it won't be what I reach for when I need a sweetener.

I've actually never considered a 20ml bottle. Can't say I was aware of that size but I do have a few 5ml ones. When you mentioned them I looked on Amazon but the ones they have with dropper tops are quite expensive for some reason.

It appears we have a similar vaping style. I'm very much a flavor chaser also. Little clouds are fine with me:lol:

I actually have no need of bottles. I have a large excess of 30ml bottles that I can use for 15ml or 20ml mixes (again I never thought of 20ml). However if you don't have any use for your 15ml size I wouldn't mind taking them off your hands .
