Morning, mixers.
Plan is to stay inside again, still bad air from fires. Supposed to be finally getting blown east. Tonight.
But they are getting past rumors of rain, and the current guess is that is will start (probably late) tomorrow, and shows in the guess as at least scattered for the following week. That would be good!
Holding out might be ok, but I'd keep my eyes open.
Nothing quite like Sting being the bad guy And the SyFy channel remake a few years later was done well. This new one, yeah, even though only the first (roughly) 2/3ds of the book, well, advancing tech sure did a good job (Not to mention the "re-visioning" by using Chani's viewpoint.)

I like it. They had been doing crossover episodes with the Rookie series that I had already been watching.
Those books were great. I just watched the original Dune movie last week for the first time since it came out. Still a good one. I hardly ever watch movies and they are always old movies.

The new Dune movie, part 1, was awesome!!! Dune part 2 will be released 2023 November. Denis Villeneuve (director) has plans for a trilogy by also adapting Herbert's 1969 sequel novel, “Dune Messiah,” into a third film. I'm hopeful the next two do well enough to continue with future releases. Villeneuve has been obsessed with Dune since reading the books as a teenager. Wow, that's insane.You would be better off going with Prime Video, it costs $8.99 per month. Or just wait until the season is over and then pay $8.99, if that show is all you are interested in.

We don't have Prime Video. My girls want it... and I told them to ante up.
I very rarely buy anything from Amazon, so Prime is not in my future ($139 p/yr or $15 p/mo).
We have YouTube tv and just have it set to save the episodes so I can stream and skip commercials.
Has anyone used DV blackberry crumble? I bought it a while back and haven’t tried it yet. Was thinking of trying to come up with a recipe instead of doing an sft.
