Morning, mixers.

Latest storm may be dragging its feet, not raining at the moment.

Survived the town run, although not all stowed yet. Mustn't rush into those things ;)

My mother in law was released today. My wife got home a little bit ago and was a little grumpy again at first but seems to be mellowing out some.

IDK about your wife but mine was always super close with her Mom. I remember the times her Mom was in hospital. My wife would spend good amounts of time visiting her (as did I).

In my experience, that daughter/Mom relationship is pretty special and it is a very tight one with many.

When my wife would come home from those hospital visits I could feel her stress and anxiety as she walked in the door. At times she was moody and short. I totally understood. No one likes seeing their Mom (Dad, spouse ect.) in hospital. It's stressful. My wife would open up and let her feelings out. We would talk about it all. That helped.

Hopefully your mother-in-law's back recovers nicely.

Had some, ummm, excitement on an errand run earlier. Several different law enforcement agencies were flying by me at very high speeds. Some with lights only and several with no lights. No sirens, weird. They were coming from multiple directions. Ummm, so yeah, me being me, I followed wanting to see what the commotion was all about. More and more LEO's came flying by.

They had several city blocks surrounded and blocked off in a neighborhood not far from my home. Per the officer I spoke with an officer was shot multiple times in the inner city. A high speed chase followed. They were "searching for two lowlife scumbags". As I left two SWAT teams drove past me in their trucks. Those boys don't mess around!!!

I've never seen a response like this with so many LEO's from multiple agencies. But I get it, scumbags shot a LEO, they should expect a very swift and massive response.

    Hope they get the scumbags.

I think I started back on nicotine too soon after my surgery. I began to develop tissue necrosis of the incisions. I have to back to the OR on Monday for a detriment and revision of the incisions. So by Sunday I need to be on 0mg juice again. Oh, well.

My wife and her mother aren’t that close like your wife and her mom were. That’s why it surprised me that she visited that long each time. Now she’s running meals over to her and she wasn’t home when I got off work. She’s out grocery shopping for her mom.

If so you should be no nic now.

It'll take me a few days to wean down. If I start now, I can be nic free by Sunday or Monday. I go at 7am tomorrow morning for pre op, which means I have to leave the house at 6am or a touch earlier.
