Okay.

Somebody is pulling my leg here.

Cloudy told me that he is Mr. Claus,

Now, this fella shows up and claims to be the real St. Nic.,

I kinda think that they are  both full of it.

I got into season 5 of the X Files last night, maybe 5 episodes in. Love it!

64 here, you wouldn't know it's Christmas except for my little Charlie Brown tree. The wife doesn't like to celebrate it much, but I do so there's always a tug-of-war about it.

The older I get the less excited I am about it. The wife really wasn’t into it as much this year. This was the first year with no kids home Xmas morning so it was a bit odd.

Likewise. All our kids have been gone for years, and our nearest grandkids (and one great grand!) are all 1000 miles or more away. Other than the religious side, which is swamped by commerce, it was always pretty much for the kids. No kids, not as much fun :(

    Christmas dog story.

Daughter's boyfriend comes from a deaf family. His parents and siblings were all deaf from birth but he got lucky in the genetic lottery. Daughter has a husky who is big and boisterous, his mother is old and frail, so they never took the dog to mother's place. A few weeks ago they went over for a few hours with the dog and it turned out the dog and mother got on really well, so they decided to do a 3 day pre-Christmas visit.

It went well. They started teaching the dog commands in sign language. Amazing really, in just 3 days the dog learned more commands in sign than he ever knew in spoken form, she never did many commands with him before. He picked them up really fast. The first one was stop. He got that in just a couple of hours.

Same here. We did a Christmas meal for family a week ago and today was very quiet. Opened our cards and said Merry Christmas and that was about it. Wore pajamas all day, I briefly got dressed to put the trash bin out. The dogs went outside a bunch to play in the snow but they always came back in after a few minutes with frozen feet.

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?
I got in some tv and cereal. I really need to work on a couple reviews. I’ve got one I’ve been putting off that I got without a box or user manual and can’t find much about it online.
