Just doing a quick cleanup around the house today. I didn’t get a lot for Xmas which is what I asked for so don’t have a lot to put away. I already put away the extra chairs and table. I haven’t used my PlayStation in several months so turned it on and am letting the controllers charge. Maybe tomorrow morning after my dentist appointment I’ll play a game for a little bit.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I spent the day taking down all of my decorations and cleaning. What a job! All I have left to do is break down some boxes and get the garbage to the road. I don’t return to work until the 4th so I’m excited to have more time off. I’m so glad Christmas is done.

As far as I'm concerned, Christmas has just started. It starts Christmas day and ends with the feast of the baptism of the Lord, on January 8. In that time we will have the feast of Mary, mother of God, and Epiphany, the arrival of the Magi to Bethlehem. I keep my decorations up until the liturgical Christmas season is over.
We went out to look at an accent cabinet for our bedroom and ended up doing a little after Xmas shopping. Nothing extreme. The wife couldn’t decide on the cabinet so we left without it.
I did make scalloped potatoes, and they were the best I've made. That is strange because wally world forgot to bring an onion so for the first time I used minced onion. It was wonderful.
Didn’t do anything on Christmas day and the same can be said about today too . . . No decorations, but a string of lights on the window ledge, no gifts, no big dinner either . . . The best thing was a long great conversation with a couple of friends, one from ECF . . . All good . . . Glad everyone had a great couple of days . . . Just Sayin' . . .
