Well, I managed the shower, clothes are in the wash and I have a fresh coffee in hand. No idea as for plans beyond that. I should pour out the rest of my Creamy Custard base into a small bottle so I can mix another big bottle of the base.

Talked with Uncle earlier this afternoon, and he asked me to post this update for him:

He's out of isolation {from having Covid}, was dismissed from the hospital, and is back at his apartment. So he was able to have his most recent dialysis treatment at his closer to home, preferred, regular center. Says he's not out of the woods yet, but at least can see a small clearing in them. He's recouping and doesn't feel like posting yet. He will be lurking though.

    Just sayin'.................... ;)

Thanks for the update, good to hear he's on the mend.

More rain, but temps over freezing and no snow :)

The boss is on a kick this morning. We had a customer that bought four new machines last week and returned one saying it was damaged when they got it. That's a lie because we unbox every machine before we sign the freight bill. In good faith, my boss decided to exchange it for a new one but wanted me to tear it down to see the extent of the damage first thing this morning. Well, the 7k machine needs about 5k of parts and labor to fix it and has obviously been dropped pretty hard so he has the supervisor from that company coming in later so I can show him the damage and explain to him how I know it was dropped and not by us.

Wow, that’s sure a lot of damage. Good luck.

Clothes are out of the dryer, folded and put away. I poured off my Creamy Custard Base into a 15ml bottle and had just enough. Now I can mix something with it once I decide what. Also need to mix another 120ml bottle of my base.

It is. I just met with two of the supervisors for that company and they found it obvious that their guy lied when he said he didn't drop it. They are having me do a minimum repair so that it is operational but won't be pretty. Too bad for brand new machine. It never even had the battery connected.

It is a great thing that they are admitting their guy lied.

When I mix one of my regular cheesecake mixes I don’t use a base because I can change up the base used. Therefore I don’t use my Cheesecake base a lot. With that in mind…….I just found a large bottle of cheesecake base that I mixed in 2018. It wasen’t with my other bases so it got overlooked. I needed the base a week ago but couldn’t find any. Now I need to dump that and mix a new bottle but no big rush. I need to at least get it out so I don’t forget it.

Probably they dropped it from the truck or something similar... !?
My guess would be that they took it off the pallet and then dropped it. They come bolted to a pallet so it had to happen after the pallet was removed due to the bottom and corner being scratched and bent.
