I really need one of those, I've been mixing by counting drops for flavors. I do pipette the nik, but think I still would do that with a pipette. It would be good for checking if what I buy weighs what its spose to also. :)

A good set of scales will make a big difference!

I also use a combination of volume and weight when mixing. I have my nic and PG premixed in the correct ratio. I have an automatic pipetter and can go lickety split down a row of bottles. I then use a scale to add all the flavors. I then top each bottle with VG. I don't measure or weigh the VG.

I started out mixing by counting drops. I don’t know if you remember Bill’s 100DT for mixing but that’s how I started. Then I moved on to using syringes and that was a pain. When I bought my scale then that was a game changer for me. I no longer dreaded mixing and cleaning syringes. I can mix way faster and easier with a scale.

I've got one of those thumb-wheel pipette pump thingy's. That's what we used in our lab at work.

I've got a PITA day coming up today. A niece is graduating from high school. There's a family party at her house in the afternoon and the ceremony at her school in the evening.

Wouldn't be too bad except it's Indy 500 month, qualification day today, and she lives near the track. All street parking is banned for miles around. If you don't have a driveway or front yard you can get a special permit to park outside your house. Her family house has a large front yard so we all get an allocated parking place. And driving is a mess so we have to go super early.

Then go home for a few hours and drive out again. That will be even worse because the trackers will be leaving as we arrive. They change all the traffic rules. Most streets near the track become one way with cops everywhere. The locals get used to not going out much during May. And a good % of the visitors get track wild. The streets and main artery roads turn into racetracks for a month.

The house is in walking distance of the track and normally they make a bunch of money renting their yard to visitors with mobile homes in May. Normally that would be illegal but the race is a big earner for the City so all the rules change.

I only went to the race once. A bunch of us got together and ordered a bus which picked us up from a parking lot miles away, took us to the track and picked us up afterwards. Expensive but we avoided the driving hell.

That's a pity. I like many of their flavors.
Hopefully they will be back after a name change or whatever they have to do to adjust to legislation where they are. (EDIT: Speculation on my part due to BCF no longer listing them and some issues with their website mentioned at ELR)

Also, I saw a post over at the ELR forums that the Molinberry brand is ending and their flavors (at least some of them) will shift to the SSA branding.

I didn’t know VT was having issues.
I'm not sure that they are, but elsewhere someone posted that some flavors on their site were out of stock (sounded to be unusual) and their website has been down for maintenance for a bit now.

I had a baseboard heater in my room that ran the whole length of one wall. It was an old one so it got removed to make the doorway into my other room. Today a new, shorter heater got installed. Of course the heat is still off and will be for quite awhile.

I have one of those wheeled pipetters. The automatic one is much better. You dial in the volume you want to pipette, put a tip on the end, and then you push the button and it draws out the correct volume. Electric pipetters are even nicer, but pricey.

Good afternoon. Just finished mowing and need a shower. The temp is only 74 but feels hot in the sun. The neighbors a couple houses down are having a big party and there are cars up and down both sides of our street. Might be a graduation party this time of year.
