Women have tons more options to choose from with all products versus men. Especially shoes!!!

I will never forget the first time I did grocery shopping by myself. Wife gave me the shopping list and sent me on my way. She hated grocery shopping, I find it relaxing and fun. I substituted a few things and saved us some extra money. I got home and the you-know-what hit the fan.

"I wanted the Always brand not the :censored: :censored: generic brand you bought. That :censored: is like sandpaper". Me "Really? I wouldn't know." She suggested I open the box and stick one of the generic liner thingamabobs in my underwear to see how it felt. I declined, didn't like the idea of sandpaper rubbing on my, ummm, sensitive parts.

I was sent back to the store to return several items and was told not to come home without the right products. She ripped the label off her existing Always box, said "get this kind only" and sent me on my way. I returned home with the right products and the correct Always liner thingamabobs.

Never again did I deviate from what was on the list.

Steve is baaaad about getting things I want.
Wanted to make some acorn squash soup. He brought home summer squash.
Do NOT substitute : Peanut Butter, Fritos, Keebler Club Crackers, Zesta Saltine Crackers.
There isn't really much I am that picky about...but come on - we have been married 43 years...you should know by now.

LOL, no it didn't. But when you are a first-timer buying something from the never ending aisle of women's personal gear it's overwhelming for a 22 year old dude.

And that aisle of gear seems to have only gotten longer with more to choose from over the years.

Suppose I could have just asked a female clerk, but that seemed like a PITA at the time.

LOLz, now I chuckle when I see other guys in the "aisle of doom" looking at various brands of women's thingamabobs.

    Somewhere between here and there
We'll see when you get back.

Could be a long afternoon shopping for shoes. I mean, ya know, what if the first store doesn't have the right ones?
She looked online but didn’t check store stock so we weren’t in the shoe store two minutes. Then to the grocery store to “get milk”. We get there and she pulls out a list. So much for just getting milk. Not bad though. We did just go to the two stores.

If a person goes to the trouble of asking for a specific thing, it is likely that is the thing he or she wants. Common sense, no?

Not when you are 22 and decide the generic brand saves a couple bucks. Common sense to me was saving a couple bucks. LOL

Let's see, I know Fran hates grocery shopping. Sounds like Classy does too. Probably some others here do too.

Maybe I should start a grocery shopping business!!!

Did all our grocery shopping for nearly 38 years. I turn grocery shopping into a fun time. Chit-chat and joke around with people. I have raced Grannies down the aisles with their scooters.

    When can I expect you?

Lemme setup a shared Google calendar and then you can select a date and time. I will expect a detailed list of items.

Ya know, like: Creamette Rotini 16oz box standard color / tri-color, if desired, should be specified.
You can print me a grocery list on your new printer.

Seeing as you are my first customer I will give you a 51% discount.

If you have teams or something on your phone then Fran could virtually shop with you at the store.
