I'm not bashing USPS but it seems they have slipped in the past few years and yet keep increasing rates. I had a Caravela which I waited months on the list, they tried to deliver, said no one was home (I was there watching the whole time). It was then sent to the local distribution center. 4 trips there over a week, they couldn't find the package. I went again to file a missing package report and lo n behold, it was sitting right there on the shelf in front of all the workers but they couldn't see it.

In So GA, mail/packages in my neighborhood were being delivered to the wrong address daily. After a lot of people complained, a friend at the PO said the reason was the carrier had a stroke and was struggling in getting mail to the right addresses. I am glad he remained employed but why on earth would they not give him a less stressful job to do.

I often fear delivering to the wrong house. It makes my job easier when the house and mailbox are labeled. Not everyone does this, yet it is important, not only for the post office, but other delivery services, and emergency services. It doesn’t cost a lot to do so. The regular postal carriers have worked long enough that they know all the houses, but I'm still learning.

I wrote down 2 different ones for a maple bourbon tobacco. Suggestions welcome and appreciated :)

    Maple Bourbon Burley
    1.25% Aged Bourbon Cream WF
    1% Maple Syrup FA
    .25% Red Burley FLV
    4% Soho FA

    Maple Bourbon Magic
    1.25% Aged Bourbon Cream WF
    1% Maple Syrup FA
    3.5% Magic Mix HA

I am intentionally going for not too much flavor...I want them to lean toward light flavor but not too light. FLV is a good Burley but IMO it is super strong, I want basically a hint of Burley flavor.

It's a lot to learn when you don't work often.

What's with the Maple Syrup? Try knocking that down to .8

I don't care for maple. Hoping someone else can give you more ideas.

If I don't like it I will try again with different bourbon(s)
I think the flavor is great but not as a booze.. Everyone's taste is diiferent and you may taste booze. If not, I usually use 2 bourbons to get a good boozey taste.

I made hot dog rolls this morning. They smell so good, I just want to eat them plain.
Yum! Now you've triggered a craving to stuff them with homemade lobster salad or warm buttery lobster meat!

We do lobsters for our anniversary in early Aug.: 3 large lobsters - 2 to eat and plus one for making lobster salad the next day. I pick those bodies clean so we end up with a lot.

I can sympathize with you. My house address (on my tax bill) is Zero but Enhanced 911 can't do a 0 so the town is now calling me 2A. We have the 0 posted on our house and a sheet with 2A on the front door just to the right of it. The post office has figured it out - I think there's a note in the back somewhere.

Other delivery services (FedEx, UPS) don't recognize 0 so I have to use 2A and our packages often get delivered next door at #2 until the driver learns the difference. Fortunately, we get along with the neighbors. :)
