I can sympathize with you. My house address (on my tax bill) is Zero but Enhanced 911 can't do a 0 so the town is now calling me 2A. We have the 0 posted on our house and a sheet with 2A on the front door just to the right of it. The post office has figured it out - I think there's a note in the back somewhere.

Other delivery services (FedEx, UPS) don't recognize 0 so I have to use 2A and our packages often get delivered next door at #2 until the driver learns the difference. Fortunately, we get along with the neighbors. :)
Oh wow. I didn't think anyone had 0 for a house number.

I'm not bashing USPS but it seems they have slipped in the past few years and yet keep increasing rates. I had a Caravela which I waited months on the list, they tried to deliver, said no one was home (I was there watching the whole time). It was then sent to the local distribution center. 4 trips there over a week, they couldn't find the package. I went again to file a missing package report and lo n behold, it was sitting right there on the shelf in front of all the workers but they couldn't see it.

In So GA, mail/packages in my neighborhood were being delivered to the wrong address daily. After a lot of people complained, a friend at the PO said the reason was the carrier had a stroke and was struggling in getting mail to the right addresses. I am glad he remained employed but why on earth would they not give him a less stressful job to do.

    A Caravela.. fancy schmancy!

    That’s one I wish I’d bought.
