    Morning, mixers.

Weather still on repeat, still no rain. But the temp is playing nicely, for a few more days. Running just a tad below norm, and a tad above come the weekend.

Yep but the doctor said they aren't bad enough yet. That was a few years ago though

Might be time :) Imo, the criteria should be when they get to the point of interfering / preventing normal activities. Winding a coil is pretty normal for some of us :)

My eye doc initially told me it could be 2-5yrs before I'd need surgery and said I'd know when based on trouble with oncoming headlights. Fast forward 2 yrs: I was driving home at night on a windy, dark, and narrow road. The headlights of an oncoming car blinded me. It was scary! I happened to have an eye doc appointment the following week and got myself scheduled for cataract surgery then. It was also when I realized how bad my eyes had gotten, even with glasses my vision wasn't fully correctable any longer. What a difference! Warning though - for weeks afterwards your days are set by a schedule of eye drops! I had alarms set on my phone lol.

I wish my eyes could be fixed with cataract surgery. I do have them, but they are mild but getting worse. My main issue is my corneas being ruined from an old vision correction surgery, an RK, which was what was done prior to LASIKS. The only more that I can have is a cornea transplant and I'd be out of commission for up to a year and no guarantees that it would give me better eyesight than I have now with the specialty contacts.

    I feel for you @Territoo

I was told I didn't need surgery for a few years so forgot about it until I went to get driver license in this state. I couldn't pass the exam, couldn't even read one line out of my left eye and not much better with the right. Scared me to death. Trip to the specialist later and told I have macular degeneration so eventually will lose my vision. I had the cataract surgery and what a difference it has made.

I recommend everyone who is older and having any vision issues, take Areds2 supplement.

I'm worried about passing my eye exam, which fortunately my license doesn't expire for two more years. I barely passed the last one.
