I've got all the bottles washed and the nicotine base in them. I've also got each bottle paired up with flavor(s). Now it's time for a vape break.
Sounds like so far so good. What do you do if you use a flavor in more than one recipe?

Eyes and Cataracts etc. etc. :)

I have a very advanced cataract in my right eye. A couple of the experts I see regularly have deemed it too risky to remove. A couple months back I had a second eye ultrasound done (those tickle!!! LOL). Same day had a second eye MRI done.

Last year I had a laser procedure done where they popped 4 holes through the cataract to allow for drainage of tears, or something like that (IIRC). I forgot the name of the procedure and the in-depth explanation. That was interesting and kinda amusing, I was awake the whole time. LOL

Back in '98 I had a rather nasty detached retina in my right eye. A couple eye experts at the Froedtert/MCW Eye Institute had to perform 3 different surgeries over the course of a year. Post-surgery I was left with 30% of the vision I once had.

To better understand the vision that remains , place the thumb of your right hand where your right eye's peripheral vision is, move your thumb just to the left of your right eye's pupil. Now imagine everything to the right of your thumb is gone, that's me, total blindness over there. And that's roughly 70% of your vision, gone. Now imagine with the remaining 30% only being able to see colors, blobs for people and blurriness. That's my right eye.

I was born with birth defects in both eyes. The retinas never fully formed around the optic nerves. The right eye was severe and very fragile. Through the years I was always told a detachment could happen at any time in that eye. Seeing any kind of details in my right eye was never in the cards. It could see but was considered legally blind since childhood. I can make out colors. People look like blobs. LOL. Reading with that eye, nope, never could. My left eye can see 20/20 with glasses.

So, no right eye cataract surgery for me. The risk of another detached retina is far too great. No cataract surgery means that eventually I will lose the remaining sight I have in that eye.

Not to come off sounding flippant, but my attitude about it is 100% healthy and upbeat. As in, ho-hum and oh well, that's life. We deal with whatever comes our way in life with no looking back. At least...... I do.

:bluewink: finally....... I get to use the one-eyed emoticon!!!

That doesn't happen very often, but when it does, I move that flavor from the group of flavors to the second group of flavors once I've finished mixing the first one. I use an app called Juice Master DIY to keep track of my recipes and it has a feature where you check off each flavor when you add it to the mix. I like it because it calculates the amount of each flavor and it keeps track of the mixes that are steeping. It also keeps track of flavor inventory, but I haven't used that in a while.
