I just found out that our inventory count at work tomorrow has been canceled and corporate is going to send some people in to do it for us so we can stay open tomorrow. No one here is really crazy about this.
I dropped out of college in 1969 when there was a major labor shortage going on. Worked for Manpower doing mostly warehouse jobs driving a fork lift. I just had to turn up at 6.00 and pick the job I wanted that day. Loved those inventory jobs. I could do double shifts for a week and make a bunch of money, then take a week off to drink beer.

I went through a union course to get qualified to drive a fork lift. Turned out to be the only formal qualification I ever got.

I think I mentioned a day or so back that I was thinking about getting one of my old pods out. For old pods I have a caliburn,Sceptre and MiniFit. I picked the tiny MinitFit and filled it with one of my Red Velvet cake mixes. It's just the cake with WF Buttercream PB. The little mix is tasty.

I'm working on lesson for religious ed. I had a lesson all planned out and ready to go yesterday and I find out today that I'm supposed to teach something different this time. Fortunately, there is already a lesson plan, I just have to print all of the handouts. My printer gave me some trouble, but I got it all done. I just now have to review the lesson again. I've read over it briefly, but need to do a more thorough job...after vape, then shower. I can use the lesson I had previously prepared next time.

I got some training in the army as a Patriot missile system mechanic. After the army I went to college at night and got an associate degree in industrial electrical technology. Since then I’ve been certified through Miller Electric and passed the test to be a certified welding inspector. That was about 17 years ago. Next year is my second nine year renewal.
