    Somewhere between here and there
I've also used FA Glory in a few recipes which is like a 555 I think, or somewhat related.
I wasn't sure about it at first, but it started to grow on me in one tester so I tried to focus on it a bit more in another mix which ended up kind of meh.
I still need to experiment with it more.

I might give NETs a try at some point but for now I have a lot of synthetics to play with. I even have a few more of the FE tobaccos on the way.
I also need to try my TA soon to see if I messed it up with the way that I diluted it. It didn't seem as thick as I expected from reading old TA threads here so I might have overdid it a bit. (50/50 TA/Everclear)
I bought a flavor pack of FA tobacco flavors before and did sft on all of them. Most were very similar in flavor to me. I didn’t love any of them. I really like Stixx haunted and Stokkebye bird’s eye.

alrighty then, here is where I'm at with my mango cupcake recipe

    mixed 10mls

    FW Vanilla Cupcake 2.6%
CAP Cake Batter 0.8% ---------> bumped up
    SSA Clotted Cream 1%
    FLV Cream 0.7%
VTA Passion Fruit & Mango 1%
    FLV Ripe Mango 1%
FA Blood Orange 0.8% ---------> bumped up

Dripped some after mixing, at 12.5w / 16.5W / 22.5w. As expected, I am tasting different flavor notes at the different wattages.

Very much liking the creamy cupcake base (FW VC, CAP CB, SSA CC, FLV C).

Mango is the main fruit note (front-side), passion fruit is noticeable but not strong (mid to back) and I'm getting a very slight blood orange (backside).

Pleased with how the mango in VTA PF & M works with FLV RM (a pairing I'll use again, for sure).

Overall it is quite tasty. Letting it steep so everything settles and becomes miscible.

I did get the tank for the B80 cleaned out and am hoping to save the coil since I hadn’t run much through it yet. Hopefully that flavor is rinsed out. I dumped the other 25ml I mixed. I didn’t know any way to fix that one.

New mix. DD2 challenged me to do an all SSA mix.

    PWC Ice Cream

Pineapple Watermelon Ice Cream with a Crumble Topping

    SSA Ripe Pineapple 1.3%
    SSA Thai Pineapple 0.7%
    SSA Sweet Watermelon 1.5%
    SSA Ice Cream 2%
    SSA Ice Cream Vanilla 1%
    SSA Clotted Cream 0.6%
    SSA Crumbly Cookie 1%

Steep time: 4 weeks / YMMV

It's a very flavorful and nicely blended pineapple/watermelon ice cream with a crumble topping.

Pineapple and watermelon pair well together. The two pineapples are complementary in nature. Clotted Cream "freakin' rocks" with the two ice creams, made the IC's "pop". Crumbly cookie adds some texture and a nice bakery note.

@Zazie can you please add this to your blog? TIA :)

I’m surprised it’s snowing. The outside temperature is 37. I went to the grocery a little bit ago for a few things and the roads are just a little wet. I was thinking about going to Home Depot for a couple things but not sure. I may wait.

Snow? We had about 5 inches total so far this season. But, due to much warmer than normal temps and some rain it's all melted.

This is only the ninth brown xmas we've had since 1935 (88 years).

It's currently 41°F/5°C. It was a very balmy 46°F earlier.

The historical normal temperature ranges for December 26 here are -13° to 30°, with an average high of 22°.

So, with today's high of 46° we are +24° above average. Welcome to the new global normal. :-(
