Good evening random folks. I had work today and it went pretty well. I got there at 7 and, except for the supervisor, no one was there and all the Amazon packages were sitting around, waiting to be scanned. It turned out that there was some nationwide problem with the Amazon deliveries. I took a local, non-Amazon, batch of packages out. That was harder, as I'm not familiar with the route, but I get them done. I go back to the post office and all the packages are scanned. They had to use a static scanning system, rather than the usual dynamic one, which is more complicated. I collect my route and get them done. There weren't very many. I managed to get off at 3.

The next few days, it's supposed to be raining with highs in the lower 30s and lows in the teens. You know what below freezing temperatures and water make. I expect the roads to be icy in the mornings, and the bridges to stay that way. It was sprinkling when I got home, but fortunately stayed dry the whole day while I was working.

    Good morning mixers,
we have a formidable storm, strong winds and a lot of rain, all the snow we had has to go somewhere!
I'm going to wash and build some atty's, think 3 dvarw, 2 22mm and the 16mm, for mix testing.

Good morning. We finally warm up and get freezing rain overnight. I checked the news and some places are slippery. It’s going to be a long slow drive to work.

Good morning Hitt. Be careful out there.

    Morning, mixers.

Not much change in the weather here, still raining (sporadically), mid 40s for both lows and highs. Almost normal :)

    Good time to stay home.

Now you tell me. I was walking to church this morning and I slipped on a patch of ice. I'm alright except, I expect bruises on my knees. I got lulled into a false security because the streets were clear of ice, but the sidewalk at the church wasn't.
