We are warming up here, in the 20's now. But we are due for the freezing rain starting tonight
through tomorrow.
I had a thought about all this cold weather.
I saw some science on the TV once. The scientists had a bunch of glass bottles and they put an inch of water in each one. They filled half of them with CO2, corked them all up, and sat them on a windowsill for the afternoon. They discovered that the water in the CO2 bottles ended up quite a bit warmer than in the ones with ordinary air.
You have to wonder, what if we could fill the whole atmosphere of Earth with CO2. Sure would take the edge off these cold winters. Don’t know where you would get that much CO2 but the scientists are smart guys. We should give it a try. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
I was walking to church this morning and I slipped on a patch of ice. I'm alright except, I expect bruises on my knees. I got lulled into a false security because the streets were clear of ice, but the sidewalk at the church wasn't.
