I came off a roof years ago. Thanks to a snow bank I didn’t get hurt. I haven’t got on a ladder since then except DD’s 3 step one.

I had a ladder slide down the side of my 2 story house and land on a concrete driveway...with me on it. I was boarding up the upstairs windows in preparation for a hurricane, with the help of a neighbor. I ended up dislocating my big toe, cut the inside of my lower lip, and chipping a front tooth. To make matters worse, the hurricane veered south, so I didn't need to bother with boarding up. I haven't been on anything bigger than a step ladder ever since.

    Somewhere between here and there
I had an extension ladder kick out on me many years ago. I tried to grab onto the shingles to pull myself up but my hands slipped. I fell and my left foot landed in one of the ladder rungs. I had the worst blow out fracture the foot specialist had seen. I didn’t wear a shoe on that foot for six months.

Good evening all you fine mixers,

Hi Folks. I'm a newbie around these parts. I like all the sharing and handshaking going on in this lengthy thread. I'll be doing lots of reading here, as I'm heading down the DIY juice trails soon.
Welcome to the thread where we mix things up a bit, discuss national problems, mostly, and where we make sure that Miss Rude doesn't go bananas. Only SMT has the nerve to try, the rest of us are trained.

    Yep, we're a friendly bunch. :)

Some here have been mixing for years, some new to it.

Do you already have a stash of high test nic? That's the most important part (unless, of course, you're zero nic.)
I have two gallons of PG Base 100mg on order. That, first and foremost was my leap into becoming self-reliant. Other essentials will come over the next couple months

Once past the startup costs, well, average out your juice to maybe 10 cents per ml, so a big savings.
That's a huge part of DIY I'm looking forward too.
And made to your tastes (well, you'll get there ;) )
My being a former Menthol smoker, my "needs" on the day2day should be fairly simple to fill. Once that's perfected, then I'll start dabbling.

    Morning, mixers.

Gee, rain. Light atm, but who knows... and all the way down to 45 last night. So, yeah, cooling trend.

anything that challenges the Mind helps to keep it young and in tip-top shape..........

like playin' Chess, Mahjong or the game of Go..........

Three great games! One of our Mah Jong sets is probably close to 100 years old, gifted from an old friend many years back. The other set is only about 50, which I got while in college, so probably better than many of the sets around now. Sadly neither has seen much use since my MIL passes a few years back - we used to play 3 handed nearly every night.

But zero Go players in the area... and that set is also about 50 :)

Looks like the dreaded town run is on the agenda... oh, well, it is nice to have food :)
