I was going to mow today but think I’ll wait until tomorrow. It’s supposed to rain Tuesday so if I mow today then it’ll need it again right after the rain.
Glad they did a good job.Warm and sunny today. Like to mow but it rained hard yesterday so I'll probably wait for a couple of days. It should be dry and hot for a week.
The lawn repair guys came round this morning to finish fixing the damage from the sewer installation last fall. The ground had dropped around a foot in the area where the old septic tank was. Plus some track marks where they parked a tracked vehicle while they were working. The ground was wet and the track marks were 6" deep. They laid seed and straw when they were finished last year. It was late fall and I wasn't too hopeful, but now it's the healthiest grass in my yard.
Spring hasen't reached here yet. 48 for a high.Lawn mowed. We should have a typical spring day today...windy with a high of 81.
That's good timing.I've got some more 30ml bottles that should arrive today to replace the ones I've lost or melted on the stove...just in time for another mixing marathon sometime next week. I'll finally get to the new Cap variety pack.
That's quite a bit of mulch. I bet it will look nice when doneI ran to Lowe’s and picked up 15 bags of mulch, 3 bags of topsoil, and some landscape fabric. We really need to clean up our landscaping. It’s a lot of work but will look good when we’re finished.
I dug out two dead bushes on the side of the house, cleaned out the window wells, and the wife helped rake up old mulch, trimmed the hedges in front, and put down the new mulch. We are waiting to mulch her flower bed in the front because she wants to get more flowers planted before hand. I think we’ll probably go out for dinner and maybe go look at flowers. I decided not to put down the landscape fabric so I’ll return it.That's quite a bit of mulch. I bet it will look nice when done![]()
Hope you like it when you get to it.While I was downstairs doing laundry, I figured I might as well mix up a tester.
It's another high percentage recipe, all Purilum, based off of a Tigers Blood recipe that I saw at ELR while looking into dennism's Vanilla Madness query the other day.
Pure Tigers Blood • ripe and sweet strawberry, watermelon, tropical blend, ss
I don't have a straight up Pur coconut* so am trying Tropical Blend in place of the coconut from the og recipe that inspired this one. (Tropical Blend has a coconut note)
* I do have coconuts from other flavor houses but wanted to keep this mix all Purilum.
Otherwise it wouldn't be pure Pure Tigers Blood.
Hope you enjoy your dinner if you eat out.I dug out two dead bushes on the side of the house, cleaned out the window wells, and the wife helped rake up old mulch, trimmed the hedges in front, and put down the new mulch. Hi, Fran
I'm splitting my time right now between browsing, Phillies, and Flyers.
Good idea on the aleve. Enjoy your dinner.I went ahead and took some aleve as I’m already feeling some tightness in my back. The wife said yes on dinner and maybe on going to Lowe’s to look for flowers.
We did. We don’t eat out much but went to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. It was good.Good idea on the aleve. Enjoy your dinner.
