The only things I can think of are-
Lid can't be wonky - warped, dented, or out of shape
Jar lip must be clean
If you screw the ring on after sealing, don't crank it tight. Just lightly until it snugs up.

I have had some lids refuse to seal for no obvious reason.
I've had some stay sealed for ages while others will "pop" the seal after only a few months.
I have the wine saver style as well as countertop units (where you have to use the tubing)
The wine saver style is easy to use but doesn't seem to hold up well.
I had bought a few when a place that has "good stuff cheap" got a bunch in and I think I'm on my last one, though I don't use it as often anymore.

I've done a fair amount of canning in my life (and am mildly compulsive, to boot), so I'm quite confident that my lid/band/lip hygiene is good. But I can also be impatient and might well not have given the thing a proper chance.

I know that winter can sometimes be brutal, but the heat is no better. To be honest I prefer winter over summer, only bad thing for winter is snow and/or freezing rain. I seem to tolerate cold better than I do the heat.

Summer didn't use to bother me at all but does now. I still hate winter but getting to where it's easier for me than summer

Likewise. I can always layer up for cold weather, hard to strip down in the heat without a trip to "the cooler."

Me too. I come from a cold part of the world and never really adapted to the summers here.

Raining all day here. They say it's the Texas stuff passing through IN. We never send our weather down there. Maybe we could build a wall along the top end of the South.

Folks on this thread never stop talking about the weather these days. As a brit I feel right at home here.

You might have even done something similar - I picked the flavors from your Flavor Stats at ELR (that way I know you have them! [or did at one time])
