I forgot it was that wanted my opinion on some of the old recipes from Zazie's blog that I was going to mix. I ended up putting up for later the boozy apricot, but I did mix the lime tahity, which has had a 2 week steep. At first, I didn't like it as it seemed weak on flavor, not much different than vaping flavorless. After some time, the lime has come out more, and I find it a refreshing vape. I'll definitely be mixing this again.

Tues evening late around fifteen police, fire and ambulance vehicles showed up by my house and all along the block. Turned out they were headed across the road on a report of a kayaker missing on the river. Just found out they located him later that night using drones. Apparently he was drunk and dozed off and floated away unnoticed in the dark and lost his paddle. Couple of miles downstream his canoe hit the bank and got tangled up in vegetation, amazingly he was alive.
It's a pretty tame river and not very fast or deep most of the time. Adventure tour outfits run canoe sessions from the river access there. Mostly OK but one shady outfit does evening sessions where people get drunk and party on the levee between canoe rides. It's a public river access so our town can't stop them. The tour guy had a rule saying people had to be back to the access at a certain time, he called 911 when he realised they were one canoe short.

A welcome change in the weather...some rain today that wasn't in the guess and much cooler temps, with the high about 80. I was in a local restaurant having breakfast with a bunch of relatives when it started raining.
