I did 2.25 miles on the treadmill. I usually "sprint" (just upping the speed by 0.4 mph) the last 0.1 mile, but today I did it for 0.15 miles. I had a bit of trouble with my earbuds prior to starting my walk. Since my regular ones had been working fine, I stopped bring the backup pair, but today one of them refused to pair with my phone. No way I was going to workout without my music, so I left and went home to get the backup pair. Those worked fine and I got a good workout done.
Tomorrow my mom has a procedure to have a filter device inserted just above her heart. She's had to be on blood thinners ever since she went into heart failure last year and she hates that. With this filter in place she can eventually go off the blood thinners. She has to be at the hospital at 6am, so we'll have to leave at 4:15. She'll have to stay overnight, so guess who has to dog sit tomorrow?
Enough rain Saturday - Sunday to skip it, for once. Muttterings about more mid-week, but looks to all be north of us, sadly. Well, they need it too.
