Hi, Dan, I hope things are going well with you

Thank you for sharing your recipe - I do have all the flavors for it!
I also have Lynda's og version saved as well but haven't given it a mix yet.
I finally mixed up a tester for lukeloop's Yellow Matter Custard the other night. (well, I had to sub for the Holy Vanilla so it won't be 100% YMC)
I've been meaning to try that one for about two years now.

I forget, did you try TBDjohn's Best D___ Mango yet?
I "printed" it out for a test batch just this morning but haven't gotten it to a bottle yet.
I have given the Best D*** Mango a nice try, I actually purchased the Dragon Fruit especially to make the recipe!
I made it up both with and without the dragon fruit and without is a very nice mango recipe but as soon as the dragon fruit is added it just takes over the recipe and you lose the lovely mango flavour! Maybe used at a lower % would work ok but I don't think this is the Best D*** Mango:thumb:

Oh, thanks for the feedback, maybe I'll do two testers (one without) so I can compare them side by side.
I'm just starting to try the Inawera Dragon Fruit a bit more.
Speaking of "taking over" - watch out for TPA Honeydew! (well, at least in the one mix I've tried it in so far)

Hi, everyone, I hope that all of you and yours are well

Not much happening here - ate some leftovers, watched some hockey, and mixed one tester for another custard attempt (Cap Vanilla Custard, FA Custard Premium, Inawera Shisha Vanilla, SSA Whipped Cream).
Hi, gloop :) All is well here and hope you are as well.:)

I just ordered two small items so far. We still have a long way to go on Xmas shopping.
I started my Christmas shopping earlier than usual. My Christmas shopping is done. If I find any must haves they will go to the coming birthdays.

Just checking in, vape break. I'm about halfway done with the cookies. Since I loaned my dd one of my baking stones, I can only do about 8 cookies at a time, and I have to let them cool a bit before taking them off the stone. That makes for some slow going. I also have to wait for my mail to arrive, because I didn't have enough sand to fill the sandbags to hold down the tent legs. Once I get the sand, I got to finish up filling the bags and load everything up. Then I should be ready.
Sounds like you'll be busy for awhile.

    G'day gloop:thumb:
I have a custard recipe made up that's finally ready after a month steeping away! It's a slight twist on a recipe from Lynda Marie on elr, Car-nilla Custard. I just subbed a couple of flavours that I didn't have and made it my own recipe, here's my Killa Vanilla Custard:) View attachment 1021541 I've mixed this recipe up before and it's just so so yummy:drool:
Looks good except I'd have to skip the caramel. Can't taste it in a vape.

It takes very little of some flavors

A long-sleeved T-shirt, a cardigan, and two pairs of socks. Sometimes a hat on windy days (my house is very drafty, and I live in the windiest spot in town).
You don't wear much more than me. I usually have a thermal type shirt, flannel shirt and sometimes a light indoor "jacket". Only one pair of socks. No hat, but no wind in here.

I'm guessing you are a true New Englander!

Sounds like you'll be busy for awhile.

I actually quit baking after I finished the first batch. I had plenty of cookies and I had forgotten to take the 2nd batch out of the refrigerator, so the dough was hard. With the holiday parties and such, I'll have plenty of use for more cookies. I got the sandbags filled and everything loaded into the truck. Time to relax until early in the morning.

The Chiefs won again by chance. We did a quick run to Dollar General to grab some milk and I needed gorilla tape for my grill cover. It wore a hole in the top where the hinge is on top. The rest is in great shape.

By heritage, though not birthplace (my father was going to grad school at OSU when I was born). I give the three-eighths that are French Canadian the credit for my hot blood
