Random DIY mixing and More

I've got a busy week coming. Our family Christmas party is next Sat. The only time everyone was available. Have to get the house all cleaned up, the Boss is very particular about that stuff.

I took a couple of bottles of base out of the freezer so tonight I'm planning to do some mixing. Including three 30ml bottles of different lemon recipes. Think I'm close to getting a good one. I can't put the lemon down right now, it's different to all my other flavors. Trouble is I'm going through the 10ml test bottles so fast they never get to steep.

The 30ml should give you some steep time. If not enough then maybe you should mix more.

What is everyone doing today? I have walked on my walking pad, did a couple mixes, read a book some and did a puzzle some. Still nobody here.

I just did a grocery shopping trip. Been waiting months for the big leeks to show up and today they had big bin full. Got six of them. Today or tomorrow I'll make a batch of leak soup. I generally get around 15 portions. Since the wife doesn't like it a batch should last me through the winter.

Good morning. Only getting up to 33 today. I checked the long range forecast and if it holds true then it’s going to stay with highs above freezing and expect 48 on Christmas. I am not complaining. I wish this was as bad as the weather got all winter.

Back from my appointments. The hearing test was cancelled because of too much wax in my ears. So we went on to the ENT and the wax is gone now. So it's back to having the hearing test on Friday.

Every day between now and spring without snow or freezing rain is a win in my book.
