Have you seen any reviews on those?
I read the profiles and the saskatoon is supposed to taste like a blueberry with an almond nuttiness
The soursop is supposed to be a combination of strawberry, pineapple and sour citrus

I heard that RF was going to quit selling to the public. Anybody else here that?
I read something like that on ELR. Walt has taken a back seat, can't remember if he's retired or what but he did mention something about not being able to buy smaller bottles directly from RF site anymore but BCF and others will still carry them.

I’ll let it get to the end of its steep and re-evaluate. I can up the bourbon then if needed.

Also tried the ginger peach/ eisai tea mix today. Quite yummy. It’s not too “peachy”, just spicy and full bodied. I added a tiny bit of lemon sicily, but I swear I get “lime” out of it. Did you pick up citrus notes in the ginger peach?
I think the combo of ginger and peach make it citrusy I used pie spice and it turned it into more of a spice profile. The custard worked really nice with it. Not my usual but really nice.

Arghhhh! Got everything BUT the freaking kiwi . I even double checked. Guess the long drive home ate up too many brain cells.

I started entering my inventory at one point but got bored lol! I really should do it to keep track of stuff. I also found I had a few duplicate flavors that I held ordered. And I thought I was being soooo organized lol!

My worst is when I'm low on something so I order more. The next time I mix it I'm still low on it so I order more. "Low" can take a long time to go through with a few tenths of ml. That's a lot of emergency orders:lol:

I find the suggested mixing percentages on that chart rather on the high side but everyone's taste is different.

There used to be threads here. They started out OK but eventually the averages got way off on the high side.

@jkbobell - About 90% of the flavorings I use are TFA. I don't use any of them to make just a single flavor eliquid though. For any recipes I make that use only TFA flavorings...I use at least 3 flavorings in them. For most all-TFA recipes I make, I use 4-6 flavorings in them.

If you haven't read about the "types" of flavorings usually used in a recipe...here's a very short explanation: A Primary flavoring is the main one you want to taste in a recipe, and it's usually also the one you use the most of ( a higher % than any other one) in the recipe. For most people the Primary is usually a fruit, or a tobacco, or a type of dessert. The Secondary flavorings are usually "blenders" like some types of creams, or marshmallow, or vanilla swirl, etc. Those are usually used at lower % than the Primary flavoring. The third type are the Accents and/or additives. They're usually flavorings like a sweetener, or cooling additive, or acetyl pyrazine (for a nutty accent), or 1 used to cut the harshness, etc. Those are most often used at the lowest % of any flavorings in a recipe.

With TFA, there are some extremely potent flavorings, that some mixers use only a few drops of, in even a 30mL recipe. The majority of the TFA that I personally use, are usually: For a Primary flavoring...I use in the 5-7% range. For Secondary ones I've found that 2-4% is about right for me. The accents will run 0.25-1.75% when I use them.

Of course, everyone's taste buds are different, so your % that you find you like best...will most likely vary from mine and from others who use TFA, too.

IF you want to make some simple, single-flavoring mixes, you can buy flavorings that are already mixtures of several flavorings. All you do is add some of just that flavoring to your own plain PG, plain VG, and nic base...and that's it! One company that quite a few of us buy from, has a good variety of that type of flavorings. The website is OneStopDIYShop. They have "One Stop Flavors" and "One Stop Blends" that are very good, IMO! Just some of my favorites are the Lucky Shot, the Blue Raspberry Slush, the Baked Cinnamon Roll, and the Pink Lemonade. Other websites that sell flavorings usually also carry that type of flavoring, too, but they may call them One Shots, or All-In-One flavorings, or something else. For people beginning DIY, they're usually a good type to start with, because you can have success right from the get-go!

I would add to start low and slowly work your way up based on how it tastes low. If the flavor changes to chemical tastes back it off, you've reached the limit.
