I got nothing done today. Nothing, I did replace my apricot brandy (seriously it has issues and I need to attack them) and replaced it with my Ambrosia and White Chocolate mix with a few odds and fruity ends that I've also made before. That one's great. I seriously thing I have some major labeling confusion though but I'm going to have to address it one by one.

Also my tea mix, I mysteriously didn't add PEG400 Just By accident. Go me. I added some but it should probably sit a bit.

Also, my sister emailed me a hefty "can you exercise your social work to help my friend" task but like, I love it when she does that as she is the only family member who seeks and/or uses my advice and let me tell you my sibs are ALL nuts, and only half of them (me my sis) are properly medicated.

So I do not mind helping as she actually uses my advice.

Were anything indispensably needed today I would be a fair ,but as long as I get yoga done,, well I don't care. I mean, it's not like I have a gangrenous limb that needs attention.

Ooh... One day here soon my life will not be like so . I should try to enjoy it, while still doing yoga and whatnot.

Are there any other flavor note sites besides ELR? So many of the notes are just copy and paste from other notes.

Thanks
Try All the flavors site. Have not really looked at it myself, but its one I think a few members here use also.

My last mix session I whipped up 2 of his Recipes that you were kind enough to send me- Pink Starburst & Tropical Paradise.

I haven't made the Pink Starburst, but did make my own version of the Tropical Paradise. If you like desserts...his Lemon Meringue Pie and Jo's Peach Cobbler are both very good, IMO. I always get comments from people around me when I'm vaping them. They're amazed that they smell exactly like the real things!

I don't remember those recipes from his site.....would you be so kind as to either post them here or direct me to them.

Thanks.

Is easier to send you the link to his Blog entries...where both are found, as well as a whole bunch more of his recipes. My copies have all my notes beside the flavorings, changes I made to %, different versions of some flavorings I used, etc. Would take more time to edit all that out than just give you the link to the originals.

Bill's Magic Vapor's blog | E-Cigarette Forum

Jo's Peach Cobbler has an entry all its own. The LMP recipe is found within the section that's 2 entries below it, titled "A Few of my Recipes - Collected by Porksmuggler".

Just got my BCF order but doubtful I'll get anything mixed today.
I said the same thing, then realized my other “options” were laundry or vacuuming... Sooooooo, I mixed:

Gin and tonic
Banana pudding with graham
Hazelnut and cream
And a toffee ice cream

May do the oatmeal cream sft later too

The main reason my Blue Razz Snow Ice w/ Italian Cream has a high overall percentage is because I used OSDIY’s Blue Slush and built from there. As different people like it at different percentages, it can easily be adjusted. I didn’t really realise how high it was after a few adjustments until we used it all up and I went to mix another with the additions. I considered trying to redo it but had to ask myself, why fix it if it isn’t broken.

I did do a sft for the FLV ginger peach I got from ecigexpress. Tested it at 4%. Way to strong....ginger takes over and I can tell there is another flavor but don't taste peach, just a very slight sweetness.
It always amazes me how different we all taste the same flavors. Though we aren’t that far apart here, as the ginger is definitely dominant and strong for me also. Only I taste a touch of peach. Many others don’t taste it. So you’re not alone. It’s funny though because I have trouble tasting peaches, mangos and the like but then I pick up on a ”touch" of peacho_O:laugh: This has got me thinking I need to try minute amounts of my problem flavors. I like Ginger Peach though as it intrigues me.

The Root Beer Float flavoring has Ethanol in it, and it was harsh to me as an immediate S&V, like ethyl alcohol is...so I shook the mix like crazy and left it uncapped for about 18 hours.
Okay, this isn’t really related but it reminded me of a EA issue I recently had / have. In attempting to find a peach combo that’ll work for me, I mixed 3 up together in a 10ml sample. One of these was TFA Juicy Peach. It was the last I mixed before getting in a hurry to leave to run errands. I forgot to leave it open to breath. I opened it when I got home. Because it’d been a bit since I mixed it, there wasn’t a white ring or tiny bubbles or anything to tell me when it was done being breathed. Being only a 10 ml, I left it open a few hours and closed it and vaped a tank the next day. Afterwards, I experienced chest tightness and have felt congested for a few days now. It’s still a bit uncomfortable to vape as my lungs feel sorta sensitive to the vapor. It could be caused from seasonal allergies but I really feel it’s from the EA in the Juicy Peach. I wanted to share this should there be any newbies, like me at one point, who doesn’t know EA is hard on our lungs. It’s definitely not a good feeling!
I use WS-23 about the same as you. Sometimes I’ll only use half a drop. IMO, it gets a bit stronger steeped also.

Try All the flavors site. Have not really looked at it myself, but its one I think a few members here use also.
IMO, ATF has a lot to offer. Though I haven’t seen many flavor reviews but many comments about them in the recipes. If you search a flavor and there are public recipes using that flavor, they’ll be at the bottom of that page to select to view. It’s much like ELR, the way the recipes are at the bottom.

There is nothing wrong with a high percentage of flavours in a mix. Sometimes, to get it just right, it takes a little bit of many flavours. I saw quite an argument break out yesterday on the Chefs FB page. Someone asked for a Piña Colada recipe or one shot. One person replied with a link to Idio-T's fabulous If You Like Piña Coladas recipe. One or two people were jumping all over the person who linked the recipe about the flavour percentage. If it takes two or three different pineapples, two or three different coconuts, etc., that is what it takes. My version of Dave's Piña Colada is slightly higher in flavour percentage than his because I made a couple of changes to flavours are new to the scene since he developed that recipe.

While overusing a flavour can mute that flavour and render it unvapable, some recipes need every single solitary ingredient to make them special! That is why we DIY, right?

Not sure if anyone on here still mixes with TFA flavorings or not. But as I was going through my file of Bill's Magic Vapor recipes I'd saved...I noticed that I'd starred his Root Beer Float recipe as 1 I wanted to make sometime. His original % were higher than I wanted to use now, so I made mine at 1/2 of his %. It's ridiculously simple yet tastes so good!

Root Beer Float - 5%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 2.5%
Sweetener - 2%
Koolada - 0.5%

I don't like Koolada though, so I used just 3 drops of WS-23 in the 30mL mix I made. I didn't want hardly any "cooling effect" in mine.

The Root Beer Float flavoring has Ethanol in it, and it was harsh to me as an immediate S&V, like ethyl alcohol is...so I shook the mix like crazy and left it uncapped for about 18 hours. Was smoother this morning, and I really like it! Next batch will most likely be either a 100mL or a 120mL.

Can someone tell me why I bought vanilla swirl ??? There had to be a recipe I saw, but I can’t find it in my 4 billion pieces of paper. Maybe try it with my new dark chocolate and raspberry, add a touch of marzipan. Mmmmm

I use vanilla swirl in almost all my custard or cream recipes in varying amounts but I like vanilla in most of those and bakery recipes too.

My recipe mixes START at 15% lol!!
Mine were 20-15% for several months too. Some are still high but most are 10-5% now. The desserts are always higher and fruits lower. If it tastes good in my atty I don't really care how much flavor I need to get there.

As a kid I used to LOVE those side of the street snow ice stands (or snow cones) with that delectable Italian cream topping:p I ALWAYS wanted extra cream topping:laugh: I now mix a blue razz snow ice with Italian cream. Hangsens Italian cream is perfect for this. We just LOVE it! I don’t want to share all the percentages for the recipe because they’re high but it works:blush: Percentages didn’t start out high but after an addition here and there... I live in a small community and I’ve got everyone who vapes on this one:lol: They can’t get enough!

Exactly that! (^^^^^^)

So, share all ready!:D My curiosity is driving me mad!!! :D:lol::lol::lol::D
