JC, that is simple not the case. I am using the 10 gauge 1" needle and still need lots of force. I am sorry if our experience is different from yours but it appears it is. I really don't see why this should be a continue topic for disagreement. You simply aren't having the same experience as we are.

Excuse me? I quoted and posted in response to hittman's post, not 1 of yours. I was explaining to him why he may have still needed a good deal of force even though he was using a 10gauge BNT...which was because it was much longer. I also offered a suggestion of what he could try that might make a difference.

Also, I never said sucking up VG with a blunt needle syringe should be easy for everyone. I previously offered a way (on pg. 523) that it became easier for me, in case it would work for others, but never said it would for all people. I also answered a direct question you asked me, when I posted that I used the 14ga. BNT, which was: "Don't you find that there is a lot of pressure to pull and hold the plunger?" I responded: "No, not really. Actually, once I get it where I want it, there's really hardly any pull at all to hold it there, for me anyway." I don't see anything wrong with my reponse, or doubting that you may have trouble with it.

As far as "I really don't see why this should be a continue topic for disagreement. You simply aren't having the same experience as we are" WTH? What/where did I post anything that said I doubted that you 2 were having trouble with it, or that you 2 should not be having any trouble doing it? You're reprimanding me...for posting things I never said, let alone said to you!

ETA: As far as this: "The length may have increased a little but it was already tough to pull through any sized needle. If you notice the rest of Hitts post he said the syringe filled in seconds."

The length didn't increase a little...it increased 3-5 times. How fast the syringe filled had nothing to do with the force needed, which was what my post was about.

OH, and I'll continue to post suggestions, comments, etc. to other people on any threads, if I think I may be of some help or have an idea that might work for them. I don't really care if you approve of, or agree with, what I post to them or not.

Seeing how you keep posting(and offering where you thought he could do better) even after hittman said he had decided what he was purchasing and why appeared to me that you were telling him he was wrong. You may not see it the same way but to be fair you should take all posts into consideration before continuing to post how you know how to make it better. And for what its worth, sometimes you come across as being the 'only' one to know how to do something. With that said, I really don't care to continue this conversation. He made his choice so its done. I will no longer be responding to your post as I am not as picky about every word written. And I certainly don't accuse people of something I have done myself as its apparent that you do.

Talk about a loaded question!! We don't know what you like, plus we don't know what you already have and may need refills for..........tsk tsk

LOL

:)

I know, tis true. :(

I don't do drink type flavors - not interested in gin and tonic or tart cranberry  but just about anything else goes.

@Letitia just reminded me about VTA Chocolate Mousse over on the VTA thread. In the cart it went. :D

I don't really need to be buying anything as I already have more flavors than I can reasonably use. Just trying to make my cart worth the shipping cost as I am not going to be anywhere near the free shipping threshold here in Canada.

So before I hit the fire button on my flavor order (yes, it's going to happen, I might as well just admit it)... does anyone have any flavor suggestions for me?

    Here's what's in my cart:

    Hangsen RY4
    Hangsen Australian Chocolate
    Super Concentrated RY5
    Vape Train Light Rum
    WFSC Croissant
    WFSC Mascarpone Cream Cheese
    WFSC Cranberry Cocktail
    WFSC Yangmei Berry

I feel like a few more need to be added

I was reading that it's up there in a lot of folks top Hangsen flavors other than the tobaccos. I have it on my wishlist.
Gonna make me put this on my wish list too.....aren't ya? Like I keep saying...it never ends....LOL

I had it on my wishlist and took it off. Then I read about it and it's back on my wishlist again.Pretty sure it's staying this time.

Anyone is free to go back and reread pages 522-524 to see what I actually said in my posts, and how & when I said it. They'll see that another member also offered a suggestion for tips hittman might want to consider buying. No problem with that though.

And for what its worth, sometimes you come across as being the 'only' one to know how to do something.

Yep, I'm picky when something is attributed to me that I didn't say or do. Lost me on that last line, but...whatever. ;)

I'll just choose to ignore your posts and you can do the same for mine from now on. :)

I kind of feel bad for starting the whole needle/syringe discussion. I hate to see folks arguing here. I wasn’t offended or bothered by anyone’s posts. I’m probably the least experienced mixer on this thread and try to learn as much as I can or at least as much as I can retain.

You have nothing to apologize for. Please don't feel bad.

I am glad I am not the only one saying how hard it is to pull base from those bottles with a syringe. At least now I know I am not a weakling. lol

    :)
It's too much trouble to use a syringe any more than necessary. I just mix a big bottle of base using graduated cylinders to measure. I only use syringes for flavorings or for putting juice in a tank. Much easier.

I am definitely a lazy vaper.

No I haven't and sadly, it's not available at Canada's biggest DIY vendor. :( They do carry JF however and are always adding new flavors so I'll keep that in mind. :thumb: Fran also mentioned she likes Hangsen RY3 and they don't have that one either.

The HS Ry3 is one of my favorite mixers. I never liked any Ry4 I've tried.
