Per VTA:Mixed:5%-6% in a mix – Standalone 6%-10% on it’s own
Either I am ultra sensitive to smell or their's isn't working right. You be the judge as to where you want to start, I just suggested what I would do. Mine is somewhere in a very dark cabinet with no plans to see daylight any time soon....lol

I need to get at least one liter. I was hoping MFS would run a sale since they ship in glass bottles and I don’t need to open it right away.

I bought a liter from MFS in mmmm April maybe and it was in plastic. I wonder why? It would be much more convenient for storage if it shipped in glass.

I’ll probably buy NicSelect next time anyways so I guess it doesn’t matter.

Last time I bought from MFS it was in plastic also. So I looked and for a few more dollars they will ship in glass.

:)

Thanks for looking that up. Wish I had seen that when I ordered it. Oh well the bottles weren’t expensive anyways. I divide my nic litres into 4 250mls for easier stuffing into the freezer so it works out.

I’m excited that I received the Yes We Cheesecake and VT flavors a day early!

I’m putting together a cheesecake stone in addition to the custard stone I’ve been using. The custard stone has been incredibly yummy to me.

I’m excited to put together a list of test recipes. Last weeks has been pretty successful even on the ones that need more steeping. My previous mix session was kinda meh. So this makes me happy  !!

@NolaMel - I saw your posts about VTA Vodka and VTA Rum. It is has been SO busy since I have been home and I am sorry to be so late in giving my opinion. VTA Vodka is good but you have to use at 5% or so to get any vodka flavor. VTA Light Rum is good and mixed half and half with FA Jamaican Rum gives a better, more complex flavor. VTA Golden Rum is disgusting. Did you buy any? If not, I will send you mine gladly.

This recipe looks good, but I'd never heard of the Golden Syrup myself, then again, I'm a DIY-newbie any way. Not too fond of maple in a vape, but I love the syrup on real pancakes/waffles. Will subbing that for, say brown sugar or another sweetener, drastically change the flavor of the entire recipe? Not sure with that percentage and 2% of marshmallow seems like it could be sweet enough on it's own (although the 'toasted' part may tone down the sweetness some).

Oh, and if anyone cares, I haven't mixed a damned thing. LOL! Haven't bothered tasting the few that I've done, although OSDIYS Blue Raspberry Slush was too menthol/minty with little raspberry for me at 10%. Will need to mix that with another raspberry, I suppose, or try a bit of sweetner. Haven't been feeling that great lately, so don't much care to fiddle right now.
Lot of people dont seem to taste the maple. Its really light anyway. What recipe did you use for the slushy?

I unfortunately ordered golden rum on my chef’s order instead of more lt rum. I’ll add the FA rum to the next order (have BCF on the way, of course ). Maybe that’s the ticket for me to be able to taste rum. When I get over this cold, I’m going to try the lt rum in a different mix. I desperately need to mix. Hoping tomorrow I have some energy to make some of my staples at least.

I am sorry I didn't offer my Golden Rum to you earlier. Maybe that is another we should pass around. ;)

Maybe your SIL?
Nah, I love that boy. He’s not picky, but I think he would definitely draw the line at stinky! What he’s gotten in the past are multi fruit mixes that were to me not good enough to remix. Also, he still uses stinkies, so I suspect they’re way under flavored to his taste buds
