FE Sweet Rice is a hard one to say. If you are mixing a 10ml SFT I would suggest trying it at different intervals because I find it does fade. Start out with a short steep — maybe 1 day, then again maybe around day 3, 5 and 7. In Shyndo’s Mango Sticky Rice recipe he suggests S&V using 5% FE Sweet Rice along with other flavors. I have only used it in a mix however some people will say it has a bitter taste which I do not get and it could be the other ingredients in the recipe offset this for me.

Edit: I did not see your post before I posted the above.
OK,then I will try it as I mixed 7 days ago.

OK I am trying the Sweet Rice. I mixed on the light side at 2 1/2%. This doesn't taste much like rl rice to me but then I didn't expect it to. I can't say that it's bitter to me but it has a definite bite to me solo.I think this will be a good mixer for me:) I can see where it would have a pleasant taste in a mix and work to lesson sweeter flavors. Glad I finally got this.:)

Trying a bit of Flapper Pie mixed light also at 2%. A bit sweet but nice flavor. I'm going to put both of
these away and try them after another week. I have 2 others mixed 7 days ago. I may try those tomorrow. I did all 5ml testers

I almost never look for recipes anymore. I've found I usually can figure out my own. It's worked out pretty well for me.Of course there are some exceptions that were posted here....LOL.:)

It is doubtful that I will ever get to that point. I tried somewhat early on making a couple of simple mixes. None were worthy of vaping. There is one that I think about a lot and one day will give it a try. I continue to use recipes developed by others however I do make modifications if the taste is not quite right for me — after all taste is subjective. In addition brand changes out of necessity I never discard a recipe initially unless it is just not my taste especially if minor tweaks will fix it for me.

I have modified recipes also but just got tired of looking through so many to find just one I could modify. I do sometimes still look and once in a rare moment I get lucky.

@PJReid Hi! When you did your review & comparison of things to go “pop” or fizzy did you try CAP Fizzy Pop?

I saved your reviews but I can’t find atm.

    Thanks
    Is that new?

I do not disagree with you. Sometimes while I am sitting just watching TV is when I will search. If I am looking for recipes that uses a particular flavor I have, I will just search using the brand code plus the flavor name. Sometimes I hit on something and other times not. The one criteria I have though is that the recipe does not have 14 different flavors  no matter how good it looks. I like to keep it at six or less with less being the preference although not always possible.:grr:

I tried Fran’s Cheesy Rhubarb Bar with approximately a ten day steep. The Mascarpone was overwhelming tangy to my taste and I was barely getting any Rhubarb. Now with 19 days steep I can taste the Rhubarb along with all the other flavors. Much more balanced for my taste. Thanks @FranC for the recipe — <3 Rhubarb vapes.

    Fran’s Cheesy Rhubarb Bar
    INW Rhubarb 1%
    WF Mascarpone .75%
    INW Biscuit 1%
    FA Cookie .75%
    FLV Milk and Honey .75%

I very much agree. A long list of ingredients is a big turn off to me. I usually give them a glance to see if I can do anything with them but the answer is almost always no.

I haven’t seen it before. That would explain me not remembering a review/comparison lol!
According to BCF it is new.Or at least it says so on the flavor listing.

I need to place an order from BCF but they still are out of VT Lemon Meringue Tart and I really need it in my life  !!

I’m going to buy a humongous size this time so it never happens again. I think I may have PTSD from withdrawals  !!

Keep me in your thoughts :)

Honestly if there are more than 5 or so flavors I just keep scrolling. I’m very happy w the simpler mixes I make. My palate is that sensitive that I can taste the nuances of small amounts of flavors. I wish I could but I can’t. So simple it is :thumb: !!

The simpler the better in my book. I'll do 5-6 flavor recipes, rarely use more than that.Sometimes they are just necessary. Still love the 3-4 flavors ones much more.Must be getting lazy...LOL

Flapper Pie is the only flavor I've ever bought in the 2oz size because it's all I could get at the time and I had to have it.....LOL. Really glad to find out I like it.
