Oh geez another cream to add to the shopping list lol!!

Great reviews- thanks for sharing. I love this idea of mixing with a recipe as well.

Thank you! This works for custards too. I am not sure I would be able to figure out how a cream or a custard flavor would work when mixed with other ingredients without doing it in a recipe. It is a little bit more trouble, but not that much.

I do that at times. Mostly with forest fruit just to see what it adds. It works if you know what your base flavor taste like to begin with

    Somewhere between here and there
I really don't like doing sft's on Creams but still do most. Trying the Ha Cream. What can I say about a cream? I'm not very good at descriptions . I like it. It's a good cream that I can see myself using often. The Hangsen Ice Cream will be up next.

I have that one coming from NR with a couple others that I couldn't find at bcf.

For anyone that's interested, bcf has a 10ml of the flv jammy berry available now for 5.90. That's a little more in my price range.

Commercial e-juice using the cheaper flavorings is a valid observation. I brought up TFA Bavarian Cream only because it is one of the common creams that I have been using that the mix has turned out to be bitter. But as I have mentioned, I have also used this same flavour in mixes that worked out well so not sure if this is the culprit or not. Personally I think it is more than one….just no idea which ones as of yet. And open to the possibility that some are much worse than others.

Just whipped up a 50/50 no nic sample of CAP Vanilla Custard V2 at 5% which is another flavour that is common with my bitter mixes. Slight bitterness but no where near what I experienced. While I was mixing, I also did the back of the hand drip taste sample of FA Catalan Cream, which is one of the creams used in RY4 Delight – extremely peppery. Will have to confirm this with a mix

Just an update (for those interested), the CAP Vanilla Custard V2 that I made yesterday is starting to take on a peppery taste that is more in tune with other bitter/peppery tastes that I have experienced.

Managed to make a decent (at least to me) Blueberry, Apple, and Pear juice. Used FW Blueberry 2.5%, FA Pear 1%, FA Fuji Apple 1%, and FA Fresh Cream 1%.

Tasted pretty good as a shake and vape, going to let it steep a bit and see how it turns out. Tried it with TFA Pomegranate, but ended up tasting like perfume ..

Has anyone tried this: The Trinity Vanilla Ice Cream ? Looks good, there was only a few reviews though.
Sounds good! I’ll try mixing it.

How much sweetener did you use?

Gotcha! Apparently its a shake and vape according to the creator ... debating whether to buy the flavors I'm missing for it.

No rush! Whenever you have time and/or feel up to it. I probably wont put another flavor order in for a little while, so please don't feel obligated to test it on my behalf. Gives me time to see if anyone else has tried it in the meantime :)

None – was just 5% CAP Vanilla Custard V2 on its own in a 50/50 mix, no nicotine. Trying to figure what creams, custards I am sensitive to.

I ask because as we know, I am mixing one flavor sft's also. I found that without sweetener, I get a bitter taste, a bit peppery.

I’ve added FA Sweetener to a commercial custard juice to try and cut the bitterness/pepper taste. It cut a bit of it, but that bitterness was still pretty strong. I fear if using a sweetener to cut bitterness with creams/custards, it might also cut or drown other flavours as well.

I have found that when I want to evaluate creams, it is easier (for me) to test them in a mix. If I want to try three creams, I mix up a recipe that needs cream, leaving out the cream. I divide the mix into three testers, add a different cream into each, then test how the cream affected the recipe. That might not work for everyone, but it does work for me. Below is an example.

    FLAVOUR ART
    • Fresh Cream
Tested at 1% in a Raspberry Sherbet mix to compare with other creams. In the mix, it is very smooth and moderately light on the tongue. I used it here as an accent. A single flavor test should probably be at 2%. If it were used as a base, it would be heavier and more dense, like half and half. This is a very useful cream. This is just plain, fresh, light cream - no sweetener and no vanilla. Use 0.5% to add creamier, smoother flavor to a recipe. Use up to 2% in a recipe for milky flavor.

    FLAVORAH
    • Cream

Tested at 1% in a Raspberry Sherbet mix. This is sweeter to me than VTA Sweet Cream. It isn't sweet but is a bit sweeter than expected. It is creamy but contains diacetyl and acetoin. It is a nice cream flavor with a good mouth feel, but not as dense as VTA's Sweet Cream. It is versatile and should blend well with whatever you put cream in. Some say that they pick up some spice at higher percentages. At 1%, it is just cream. It is a bit weak for a FLV flavor but still should do the trick at 1%. If you are looking for a dense mouth feel and a lot of body, VTA Sweet Cream is the winner. If you are looking for a sub for FA Fresh Cream, the FLV Cream should work well.
    VAPE TRAIN
    • Sweet Cream

Tested at 1% in a Raspberry Sherbet mix. The difference between this and the FA Fresh Cream was immediately noticeable. It is much fuller with a denser mouth feel, almost like a whipped cream. The sweetness is very, very light – just a kiss. It gave the mix a fuller, denser mouth feel. I would use it in a mix at 1 to 1.5% based on this test. At that %, it gives a rich, full mouth feel. I don't pick up any vanilla or off notes at all. Pure, rich cream and nothing else. Depending on what this is used in, it could be used up to 5% and as low as 1%. This would be useful to add a thick mouthfeel at lower %’s.
I would buy a book of your collected tasting notes, @PJReid.
