My favorite sneakers ever were a pair of Rocketdogs slip ons. I could wear them to work, they were SO comfortable.

Then Rocketdogs moved on to like, OTHER shoes. I wish I had bought 3 pairs I would still be wearing them today.

Backups for your backups.

Discovered the source of my headaches when my jaw turned into a pumpkin. It's infected again. It was a Very Trying Time last night to fend off my doctor's desire for me to a) go to the ER (should a doctor tell you: "You look absolutely horrible by the way, you look terrible, if I looked like you I would go to the ER?" I kind of think not, especially since a) I was not going to go and b) she wasn't exactly Venus de Milo herself) b) load me up with narcotics, I finally let her prescribe me 800 mg tablets of ibuprofen just so I could get out of there, I told the pharmacist to forget it, c) like not enjoy your jokes like when she said I looked like I was gonna die I finally said, "I don't think the florescent lighting is doing either of us any favors" and to suck her teeth when I said I went to work yesterday.

I feel considerably better after ONE dose of Augmentin. She wants me to move my dentist appointment to Monday. IDK I don't think I can honestly even though the schedulers would DO it but like my work has this thing where you only take PTO in full day increments. I don't like it. I feel guilty anytime I leave honestly.

I saw the dental area where I am going it looked scary, honestly. To be fair, all dental places look scary to me these days....

I refuse to mix til the husband brings me my flavors!

I got tanks cleaned and loaded with the rhubarb custard and tarte au citron one shots this morning. The citron is good after only one day steeped. I think the rhubarb needs more time for the custard to develop.

I like the Tarte Au Citron too right away.

@NotSoMini was it you who posted a link to Rice Custard w/Pistachio from ATF? Just mixed 30ml its really good the author stated SNV to 3 day steep.

Yes, I posted the recipe. I just wish sweet rice did not fade so fast because I do like it. I don’t know how long it takes you to vape 30mls however will be interested to hear how your 30ml bottle holds up.

Last month when we went for dinner for my b’day it was a Mediterranean restaurant and they gave me a bowl of their rice pudding instead of ice cream. In addition to pistachios, it did have a little cinnamon sprinkled on top. I may play around with this recipe more for the sweet rice taste. I added VT Rice Base to my shopping list to use as a booster.

Interested in your thoughts on the plex coil.I have so far just bought 4 boxes of the 1.6. The one I’m using in my. Zenith is a .5 and it’s still going strong.

Jury is still out on taste. I find it to be more airy than the 0.5. More later.

I could not decide whether to post this here or in @FranC Liquor Flavors thread under the DIY E-Liquid section.

My new flavor venture is with booze flavors and I could not wait to try @PJReid Cranberry Gin on the Rocks. I did not add the WS-23 because I tried it a while ago and I could taste it. I think I threw it out and am thinking I would like to try it again. I have FA Polar Blast and so may try this first. I went with Cranberry Super Concentrate which I purchased from Vaperstek (BCF did not have it). I am not much of a drinker and gin was never one that I ever wanted to try. In vape form though I am liking this even without the WS-23 and maybe it is the Aurora magic that is making this a tasty vape for me. I steeped this for a full seven days and used 3% of the SC Cranberry. Definitely will be mixing this again and again.

    @PJReid recipe and notes:

Cranberry Gin On The Rocks (My favorite Gin recipe!!!!)
    Aurora (FA) 1%
    Botanical Gin (VTA) 4%
Cranberry (TFA) 5.5% (EDIT: If you have it or can get it, Cranberry Super Concentrated, is wonderful and at 2-3%)
Lime Tahity (Cold Pressed) (FA) .5%
    WS-23 30% Solution .5 to .75%
Good as a S&V. Better with a 7 day steep.

Aurora is the magic once again. At 1%, it brings a lot of fizz but also some dryness. TFA Cranberry is also rather dry. This mix isn’t dry to my taste, so maybe the botanicals in the gin bring some moisture. If you find it dry, add a tiny bit of cactus, cucumber, or pear. My pick would be Molin Berry Shape Up Pear.

@NotSoMini - I love that recipe and am glad you do too. Cranberry (SC) makes a difference, IMO. WS-23 is a funny thing for me these days. I have always put some coolant in EVERYTHING and admittedly, it does provide the rocks for this recipe.

I have been experimenting with leaving coolants out of some recipes and it seems, that after 6 years, my taste has changed enough that I can enjoy some vapes without coolants. I mixed Sherbet Lemons without adding WS-23 and am enjoying it very much!

I hope you get some antibiotics into you soon, Anna. Infections in the head can be really dangerous.

P.S. Just so you know, I am no fan of doctors or antibiotics. It takes a lot for me to seek out either.

Quite honestly I am enjoying it so much “straight up” that it is doubtful I will add a coolant.

I got my two chefs orders and my bcf, and ecx orders put away and a new list for the case they went in. The tarte au citron is definitely a keeper. I probably could go less than the recommendation of 20%. Not sure about the rhubarb custard yet. I’m going to finish the tank and let the rest steep another couple weeks at least. I’m reduced to doubling and tripling flavors in my polish case. I wish the 30ml bottles would fit right. For now I’m just sitting them in at an angle but it makes the lid a little hard to close. The FA bottles I got from NR just don’t fit. They are too long. Those went in a small box with my surplus flavors.
